Great to see you too Julien. I thought the Stratos and your Fulvia looked very nice parked together. Rosso corsa with gold wheels is a good looking combination....
Thanks Andy. It will be out and about again when the weather improves and the mud clears from our lane...Hope to see you at some events in the near future.
There's a couple of films of it being driven up a short hill climb circuit. Check my channel to see them, and some other Lancias that I'm lucky enough to have...
Like my MINI R50 on the dyno, making a "beastly" 130 WHP. 😄 Still, a beautiful car, and proves that you don't need a lot of horsepower to have a first-rate driving experience.
Hi. Thanks for your input. The 123 seems to be fine on this car. I fitted it because it had an ignition system (coil with heat sync and dizzy) from a Fiat 124 Spider on it when I bought it, and at the time, I couldn't find an original S1 HF ignition module. I'm using the generic curve for a 1.6HF, but I'm getting some pinking over 4k rpm under load, so I'll take some advance off the higher rpm side of the curve and see if it improves. The rolling road engineer thinks that the timing is correct under the 4k threshold. The 123 model that I bought has a USB interface and allows on-the-fly adjustment, which can then be used to construct a curve for later uploading. I'll see how it goes. I would say that there seems to be a very strong spark generated by these 123 systems.
@@jreacock Very good, let us know how it works, I want to install the 123 USB on my coupe very soon. People speak highly about it and I seen it used on Fulvia 1.6 HF Zagato, so perhaps its a good system.
Hi Roman 135bhp. Could have been up to 150 with longer air intake horns and a more modern exhaust, but it was decided that 135 was enough. It certainly feels like plenty for such a light car.
Wow! Great! Did you see the Kimera 037 project? Maybe is not the favourite project for a original 037 owner...btw... Greetings from Torino, Italy, homeland of your 037 ;)
Hi. Thanks for your comment. Yes - my 037 was at Salon Prive on the Kimera stand in 2021. I had a ride in the EVO37 - driven by Luca Betti at the show. Wow - what a great job he and Kimera have done with their restomod. It was a fantastic experience. Please see my channel for the video - and apologies in advance for the poor camera work.
She gave around 140hp - but more was available with a different exhaust. But - I wanted to keep the original Bosato manifold so this reduced the hp over a modern replacement. Longer trumpets would also have helped, but I wasn't really fussed about getting every available horse. I didn't get to see the actual print out for hp v. rpm.
I know. I wish I had when I look back at this film. This was just something I did for the person who bought it back in March 2021. I was just showing the pull that it had in 5th going up a steep hill. I wanted to pull over just after I stopped it - which is why I didn't overtake anyone. The car went really well and the new owner is really pleased with it.
Thanks - I'm really pleased with it, and it's lovely to drive. I've used it as much as possible this year, but not really taken much in the way of video. I need to get a decent camera.
I know...trouble was, that I wanted to pull off the road to go to the shop just after the top. Bad form to overtake then immediately turn. This was just a pre-sale video to show how well it pulled up a steep hill.
Hi Roberto. It's a series 2 HF - which I sold recently. Here's an old advert for it: www.bonhams.com/auctions/18216/lot/327/ I wonder why you don't think it's an HF?
