Hi,Good vids. I like the detroits but I have not worked on them and have much to learn about them. I would like to ask you an injector question about my friends 353 non turbo in his skidder, I cant find a better way to contact you than this. The previous owner(s) at one point put the n75 injectors instead of the n45 in, He has them adjusted down because it has been overfueling, Is it ok like this or are n75s too huge? I am a mechanic but have n experience with these mechanical injectors and have much research to do. Thank you in advance for any info.
If it's the Hercules winch. It's hydraulic and sounds like a valveless problem in the valve bank on the dash. If it's the gearmatic brake fluid. Your master control by the seat is going to need to be rebuilt. Dixieland Timberjack in Alabama where I got those little cylinder kits. 63$ a piece.
Either the hydraulic clutch has went out. It's on the passenger side of the winch. You don't have to pull it completely off. Or the valve on the dash may need rebuilding..
+jr cheat. Hercules/Eaton winch? You can adjust the brake band clearance below the brake cylinder. should be a bolt there. Also there is a bolt at the back of the brake band. This bolt makes the brake band come off of the drum all the way around it. ill send you some pictures if you want.
