The X-ray crystallography core laboratory is part of the Yale School of Medicine and is available for use by individuals at the medical school trained in X-ray crystallography. The laboratory director is Dr. Ya Ha, and the laboratory is overseen by the Associate Director, Dr. James W. Murphy.
The X-ray crystallography core laboratory provides the equipment, training, assistance, and technological innovations necessary to determine the structures of proteins and other macromolecules. The laboratory is dedicated to X-ray diffraction and crystallographic studies and utilizes state-of-the-art technology, including robotic liquid handling, robotic imaging, and X-ray detectors.
