I love your arc reviews but I was mad with how slow you were (no pressure, take your time king I just really like your content) so finding this channel just now has made me happy
You haven't seen fight club??!!? Come on dude next your gonna say you haven watched memento :D Get on with it! Watch the older legends they are respected for a reason!

12:07 would you say you don't take it... series-ly? Edit: I'm always surprised when people don't remember Kuma, but then I recall he showed up for 10 minutes about 200 episodes ago.
"he knows how to count" is crazy. This is funny in a way considering at the start of One Piece, Luffy specifically said he wanted 10 crewmates, at the very least he does know how to 10. You probably cant remember.
Heh. Love these reactions from you.:D Out of curiosity, will you also be reacting to filler, or just the main ones? I know there's also a filler that's lead up to the Strong World movie.
Zoro used this one gorilla, two gorilla move against Kaku just one arc before. It is the power of puns. If japanese word play makes a pun possible, it is often used for attacks or even powers (that's why the Hollow Hollow Fruit makes ghosts and makes you depressed). Most of Zoro's attacks are puns, often themed with food or animals. For example: Oni giri (demon slash or ogre cutter) / Onigiri (rice ball)
Just wanna say when it comes to trade and stuff with Menagerie, that's probably one of MANY reasons the faunus are pissed off since well, good odds they barely have trade at all and have to produce everything they need for themselves (which er, given they're on an island that's two third's desert with wild life it apparently deserves mention over Vaccuo's and the no doubt large amounts of Grimm attracted by the misery of the Faunus forced to live there... Speaking as an Aussie here: WTF and YIKES!). Anyway. Very likely the forceful relocation of faunus to Menagerie was intended to kill them off via starvation, crowding and disease issues (akin to the Nazi's 'Madagascar Plan' for 'humanely relocating' Jews, though more 'benevolently' could be compared to the horrific conditions endured by convicts during Australia's early colonisation), but somehow the faunus managed to actually survive and thrive in spite of what the rest of Remnant tried to do to them. Probably due to forcing the issue via that briefly mentioned Faunus Rights Revolution/the Faunus Wars Dr Oobleck was teaching about way back in volume 1 during the Jaune focused episodes. Also. Menagerie was 'given' to the Faunus after the Great War which ended 80 years before canon, which means this entire place is less than 80 years old and good odds there's older faunus folk still alive who were forcefully displaced from their original homes/had to actually fight the Kingdoms in that 'Faunus Rights Revolution' to prevent them/their people as a whole from being genocided (an unpleasantly recent history comparison in 'the Lost Generation' of Australia can probably be compared in terms of how much it's shaped faunus culture. Lots and lots of generational trauma there no doubt =c). (Sorry for rambling, just, I see a lot of people diss Menagerie and the faunus stuff and like, I get it because Blake sucks at explaining things and it relies on the audience having a lot of background knowledge they most likely don't have, but when you've done a little research on the little tidbits sprinkled into background scenes and the like, it presents a truly horrifying history and paints the White fang as much more akin to the original Black Panthers... Up until Adam happened and has been subverting parts of the group into a mix of the 'New Black Panthers', a terrorist group and a cult of personality centered around himself). Side note: ...Would Menagerie even have gotten the news on the regular given how Atlas is the Kingdom that does the CCT towers? Like, I presume they probably had one relay tower for diplomatic reasons but doubt it had the best reception/people maintaining it most of the time and post the fall of Beacon no one has CCT communications at all... Oh, and given the history of Menagerie the mainly human focused Kingdom news was probably treated with suspicion so... Likely Menagerie as a whole knows bugger all about what's been happening in the world aside from Beacon and the CCT network falling.
Straw Hats VS Oars is a hell of a fight, no doubt about that. in the end what humanity that remained in Cindry was awakened by a monster with a pure heart, quite poetic.
The thing with Cindry (or rather the shadow inhabiting her zombie) hating plates is likely a reference to the story "Banchō Sarayashiki" (番町皿屋敷). The main character, Okiku, is a servant at a castle and her master has a collection of ten valuable plates. The samurai makes advances to her, all of which she rejects. Eventually, he hides one of his plates and blames its loss on Okiku in order to blackmail her. She rejects him again and he ends up torturing her in order to force her to give in. This results in her death and in her haunting her murderer. The specific way in which Okiku's ghost torments him is by counting from 1 to 9 and then shrieking before she reaches 10, because of the missing tenth plate. This scene is directly referenced in Cindry's introduction in episode 340 where she is holding ten plates in her hand and throws 9 of them at Usopp, counting from 1 to 9. Beyond the hatred for plates, another parallel to the story would be Hogback's obsession with her (when she alive) reflecting the behaviour of Okiku's master. Also, minor spoiler for stuff way, waaay further down the line (ROT13 so you don't get spoiled): Guvf fgbel vf ersreraprq ntnva yngre ba, guvf gvzr jvgu n punenpgre jub vf npghnyyl anzrq Bxvxh naq unf gb qrnyf jvgu gur haraqvat nqinaprf bs na bofrffrq zna jub qbrf abg frrz gb haqrefgnaq gur jbeq ab.
Usopp actually said 美女 "bijo", aka "beautiful woman". It's just that the eng subs turned it into "hot". Even though thus time it's not a pun, the most jokes and puns in the show are ommitted, lost in translation or turned into something else a westerner would understand, so don't take the subs 100% word for word.
The moon has been that was since the beginning. But it waxes and wanes, the moon still reflecting, but which side is showing depends on where it is being shown.
Just randomly felt like sharing this: Due to reasons, some of my preferred ships in this series: Luffy/Nami Usopp/Kaya Franky/Robin And some pairings for later on: Luffy/Hancock Zoro/Perona Zoro/Hiyori Perona/Hawk-Eye Sanji/Violet Sanji/Pudding Sanji/Bonney Chopper/Milky Though that's just off the top of my head. ...honestly hard to say what pairings I prefer beyond those.
Well Moria did say that no matter how strong the person's will evenchally the shadow will obey him and the shadow's orginal personality will fade to better serve moria.
The series never did unveil Arbell's power source. I personally theorize that it's a trained version of the ability Luffy used to speak and understand the millenial dragon in the filler arc before Reverse Mountain that we've occasionally seen him utilize, trained to be applied to animals and plants alike. But, that's just my theory.
14:00 - Gecko: "KEEEE SHI SHI SHI! after a while, shadows start to ditch traits of their owner's personality, and become loyal servants of mine! speaking of the devil... KEEE SHI SHI SHI!"
both Usopp and Perona are intellectual, she uses tricks to defend herself without having to fight, but once her hand was forced, she fought back like Usopp would've in her situation.
Oh jesus, you're taking this obvious gag super super seriously! People can seperate jokes from reality, you're more causing your worries about assault yourself than anything.
Yep... It was really hard to be a Sanji fan for a very long time. Though things do get better and he's now in competition for being my favorite crewmate and the Strawhat I think is the best written overall.
