This channel shares paper crafting ideas such as card making, scrapbooking and memory keeping layouts. You will also see craft organisation, tools, hauls and product reviews. I love to sew small projects, so you'll also see a little Sewing Playlist too with quick and easy to make ideas.
A Humbug with a Flap! At a crafting event, a lady had this. She was given it so didn’t know how it was made. I took photos but couldn’t figure it out. How you do the closing seam is how needlepointed Humbugs are made. So glad I found you❤❤❤❤❤
Hi I came across your video for the same reason as you that sometimes you just need a small amount of different vinyls for projects and was wondering if I could get away with using the cricut joy vinyl in the maker 3 but I was wanting to know it would work without the mat if it was cut to the right length. When it came to you trying to take it off the backing paper I know it wasn’t going to work as I have just recently purchased the maker 3 and I got a full roll of this black glitter vinyl with the machine and I too was testing it making numbers but on a much larger scale and had great difficulty in transferring it I used the cricut transfer tape that also came with the machine but it didn’t work so I jumped onto Amazon and bought a stronger transfer tape for glitter vinyl and again that didn’t work either so I’m guessing it’s one of those vinyl that has to be applied by hand maybe because of the textured vinyl and or glitter.
@@WeekendCraftaholic You're welcomed. Also, you can add a splash of jojobo or coconut oil to the mix and that will smoothe out the beeswax and prevent it from cracking during use.
I bought them local at a craft store in Joondalup in Perth. There are also some people that handmade them and sell on Facebook marketplace, hope you find some
Thank you for the review, it was really useful. I was seriously considering buying one of these, rather than the bulkier cordless one with the trigger on the top, but I didn't realise it didn't take a normal length glue stick. Couple that to how much they waste because of the dribbling and this one is not for me.
taking smaller glue sticks isn't a problem, they cut earlier with scissors, and it doesn't drip as much as most glue guns. Issue is that the smaller glue stick runs out pretty fast, so it needs replacing often
I found it very helpful to see your “fails.” Thank you for giving us a comprehensive look at the “what not to do’s.” (Hello from a British/Aussie mix living in Boston, Massachusetts.)
Perfect! I just watched a demo of the new Gina K wreath builder and wondered if it was something I could make myself. I don't have a Misti, either b/c I decided not to get into stamping. Lovely! I can still use this method with my die cuts. TY
I also keep a list of the different colors I have. But I keep it digitally. I was especially doing this as I was slowly collecting the full line of colors. Like some other crafters, I’m now creating a digital inventory on Evernote of my stamps, dies, etc. Thanks for sharing this information about CP inks
Yes, that sounds good to me. I think it would good to have different sized ones too if you want to use up your scraps, with different fabrics would be a good sensory activity for a toddler
