OK updates lol: so, I see serious potential in this. But after tinkering with it for 2 days it’s a bit iffy. For instance it won’t copy every face expression perfectly and can look seriously cartoonish/strange at times . On top of this the end product slows down the time of the original video and spewing it back to normal causes some lip syncing speed differences. On top of this certain animations / camera angels or character movements won’t allow the effect to process you’ll be hit with Error AND will be if your video is quite long. Unfortunately I couldn’t get VideoPortait from Pinokio to work so I’ve been using the HuggingFace online vid2vid . I’d love to use this I think it’d be very helpful but I don’t think I’d be able to get my VA’s to record themselves doing the face performance whilst saying their lines, which means I’ll have to do the video myself and try my best to match the speeds in which the actir talks so not to affect lip syncing!! God this was a long paragraph 😂😂
Oh no you're fine! I only recommended the huggingface vid2vid website if people didn't want to install live portrait through pinokio since it's like 15 gigabytes or something and the installation process takes a while. Dang that sucks because while i was using the pinokio version i've achieved much better results. The lip syncing is more accurate and it's a lot less glitchy. I also thought about the fact that i may have to also do the lip movement for my other characters as well. Both male and female, so this is gonna be a very INTERESTING feature .🤣
Cool video man! Quick question, What's the name of your discord? I watched your video on how to retarget actorcore animations for gta 5 in blender and I wanted to use the template that you created.
It seems to put the clips out in the same quality as the clips you put in. I would suggest using Pinokio version though, as the quality does seem better. There are also AI video enhancers I have heard about but they cost money.
One thing not pointed out is how you combine the animations? For example 1:06 those are all single animations but you make them play seamlessly like they’re one. I thought you record a sequencer but you mix it in well, how do you do this
Quick side note. You don’t HAVE to download any software really. Those are just other options. You can go to the website I provided in the first tutorial and go from there.

I always love the martial arts centered vids. Not only is it just interesting to see in GTA, but the choreography is good enough for me to get some inspiration.
@@UR_ronaldo477 it can be both. You can use these animations to overhaul the gta combat in scripts, only if you create scripts, or you can use these for film purposes.
