On this channel, you'll find travel vlogs and videos about Rhodes, Greece. Recently, we started a new Greek island-hopping video series where we explore all the islands in Greece to discover the best ones. Since 2023, we have created over 100 different videos about the island of Rhodes. Looneytravels has visited every corner of Rhodes, showcasing all the things you can do there, and we've made videos about it all. The Looneytravels RU-vid channel is the most comprehensive channel about Rhodes and soon, about all the Greek islands!
Thank you everyone who has subscribed and support us in any way!
Thank you for a great video... after having seen dosens of videos showing the same famous spots, your was a real gem, showing some little known but worth visiting spots, which otherwise I would have never known about
@@looneytravels That's because it is registered in the ship register of a Cypriot port. Shipping companies often register their ships in other countries for reasons like paying less taxes etc.
Thanks! I love 2 wheelers! This is the first time in a while where we decided to retun to our roots how we first started travelling. There were times where we were driving 200km on scooter in a day- poor butt 🤪
It's nice for a visit but i wouldn't want to stay there, we visited in July and once you've walked along the sea front and seen the dozen or so restaurants, there's not really much else to see or do.
the restaurant near the 1st fountain (guy with a parrot) is a tourist trap. Overpriced and worst pizza ever, it was half-baked and you could see clearly that it was from supermarket.
Yeah it is gorgeous! It was like 1h drive from Karpathos town but the road was so curve after curve 🙃 Caitlin is not a fan of curves while driving. I was driving carefully but yeah 😊
@@o-_-o-_-oII Thanks! Maybe next time, there is usually a reason I have to put licenced music over video like wind, copyrighted music that local shops love to play loudly or something else that makes video hard to watch
Wow!!!😮 That was awesome!! I think this is my favorite video ever! You two did an amazing job. Love the bunny ears and wise cracks. 🤣Great video and beautiful island. Can’t wait to see the next one. 😀
Thank you! Yeah this video was kind of spontaneous :D I usually see what Caitlin did in the video when I start putting them together so sometime it is news to me also what funky stuff she does haha :D She is the funny one in videos and more good stuff is coming in the future for sure :P I really love this Island, hopefully I can return one day.
I jumped off that platform in 1993 with hundreds of other people. I do not remember getting to the bottom. I dont remember the wood on the top level either. But we rented paddle boats to get out to it. No swimming needed. :)
I am glad you liked it and found some value 🤗 I have visited most of the places many times so if you need something then feel free to DM on social media ✌️😊
@@geogeo2299 Alright thanks for the feedback! There are thousands of accents in the world and I would not even know how to say this word any different even if you just said how is the right way. I mess up alot during my videos with even common english words and meanings and thats okay. I also can't fully say letter R in a way all normal(majority) people do as i have had problems with that letter since I was a child, but I do my best in every video and hope people also accept that 😊
@@looneytravels Your R is perfectly fine my friend. I'm aware that putting accents in the right place in a word, in Greek, can be quite challenging for an English speaker. That is why we (me and other Greeks) are here to help.
Hi, really enjoyed this video, I hope you both enjoyed yourselves making it. Did you feel like you were on holiday again? Can’t wait to see the rest of them. Roll on next week ❤❤
Hi! Thank you! Yes it was really good to get out and travel a bit. We did enjoy it as travelling is our passion but we forgot ourselves locked in to one place so Island hopping is a great way to explore ourselves again🤗🤗😁 Hope to see you next week aswell! ❤️
I'm incredibly happy. Thank you very much, a really great format. Unfortunately I couldn't watch the publication straight away, my boss didn't accept the argument and didn't let me leave earlier 😂 you two look so happy on your trip, we're happy for you 😍 The place reminds me a bit of Kardamaina on Kos, even though the harbor is not in a bay. Did you have the feeling of being a tourist again? You don't have that anymore in Rhodes, do you?
Thank you Mateuzb for nice feedback! Yes it felt really good to be a tourist again haha. We have been waiting to travel around and explore new places! In Rhodes everything feels like everyday life so the spark is lost a little bit but we hope to gain our spark by hopping from one Island to another and also keep exploring Rhodes 😅😊✌️✌️ Karpathos had a really nice vibe that I haven't felt in Rhodes. Sometimes I just made another video somewhere because people were cheering and laughing and waving so I recorded 2-3 times even if I did not need it😅😁
@fabiobarisone 2 giorni fa HI! I'm watching Prasonisi's video and it's really top!:) I'm also making a little video about my experience in Greece during the holidays, but due to the wind I couldn't raise the drone in Prasonisi and with my clips i don't describe Prasonisi how i want. I wanted to ask you if you could use a few seconds of your video to explain how the beach is made: you would help me make a part of the video that I care a lot about much less boring :) I really love the first 6 second of the video and 2:02 -> 2:09. Obviously if you accept when ready I will mention you in the credits! Would it be possible? A thousand thanks, Fabio
Hey Fabio! Yes you can use these parts. I know how hard is to capture Prasonisi as it really is, filming on ground its large area of sand only 🤗 Looking forward for that video ✌️🤪
Hello, I search Rhodes holiday and found your videos, heading over next week with my partner ! Thanks for the videos, they are great and at a good pace!
Great video fella. Hats off to you for covering so much of the village. 👏 Was hoping to do something similar in October. So hard to know where to start / keep track of where you’ve been.
