Hi I'm Ire! I make simple, practical food that anyone can include in their weekly cooking. After work, I like to unwind in the kitchen and try meals that bring me closer to my family and heritage. My goal is to help others find the same comfort and joy in food. ¡Buen provecho!
Try keeping dry peas soaked for 12 hours in water at room temperature, changing the water every 30 minutes after shaking with a spoon. You will see how much harmful foam containing phthalates that are very harmful to your health will come out in the water, it looks like washing powder foam! but the harmful effects of the peas are being eliminated, after which the peas will be ready to make recipes that are much smoother and healthier and digestion will be much better. Watch the video in which I made this process and notice how much toxins are released into the water, notice that the bottom of the sink is dry before washing the items. Oh! They will double in volume and cook in much, much less time, saving your electricity and/or your cooking gas! And if you found it useful, please share and like the video. ru-vid.comS1YMaJzBQ_I?si=nfZxvzVtwEmrM84B
I recommend removing from heat letting your chicken cool off in the water, even for just 30 mins preferably in fridge over night. Its much juicer than pulling it right out.
You can start with half a teaspoon of each: garlic powder, salt, smoked paprika. For black pepper I usually add a bit less than the other seasonings, could be 1/4 teaspoon. Start there and taste it before you add more, if needed.
adding some additional moisture would be good for the final seasoning process. I'll usually finely chop up onions, add garlic and ginger. Then a splash of vinegar, a few spoons of soy sauce, water, and molasses. You can also add any additional seasons or flavorful sauces. Not too much. This gives the final product some much needed flavor and moisture.
@@iredinnersokay that point you made is actually fair. Lemon in substitute for white wine would give similar results. But why put the lemon juice at the end and not in the middle. When I cook, I don’t usually have an answer for everything I do something’s are just done base of feeling. So you putting the lemon juice at the end instead of the middle could very well be one of those times. Just thought I’d ask just in case you tried both and prefer putting the lemon juice at the end.
