I have a P6 and l love it i think the grip is a bit too small for me but very nice handgun. It is nice to have something that is marked Made in West Germany.
Been carrying the 225 on and off for 30 years. I gotta tell you I had the trigger return spring break twice. Not a comfortable feeling having the trigger flopping around. I still have it, but rarely carry it anymore.
I sent my West German 226 back to Sig and they did a complete rebuild on it including all new springs for less than 100 bucks. I do the same with your 225 if they offer it.
I picked up a Beretta 8000 9mm a little bit ago, after wanting one for many, many years. It was in cherry condition, seemed d*mn near brand new, all original paperwork and packaging . . . but sadly, with California mags (10rd). Is there any source that you know of for mags for those, other than ProMag (they're crap mags)?
@@psp1921tsmg it would appear Gun Parts Corp only had the low cap; and every time I go to a gun show, and ask for mags for that pistol, the people go crosseyed, like they'd never heard of it before. :/ But thanks for the suggestion. I guess I just need to keep looking. I've been reading that you can modify 92F mags to work, I might give that a try.
If full auto wasn't regulated I'll be broke AF. The feds want you to shoot in semi only and more accurately to be a better shooter and save money and not spray and pray everywhere.
To be truthful, the differences minimal the early Belgian commercial guns had a fantastic finish on them. The later Portuguese assembled guns had more of a flatter instead of high gloss blue but fit identical.
I have a BRN-180 retro lower and want to get the best stock to go with an 18.5 upper. I’m all for being a purist but the manticore is 120 and the Brownells is 205. That’s a big difference. What’s your opinion for someone that just wants it to “feel” classic?
Agree. I have both, the Hi Power was designed as a 9mm by JMB so no surprise is works very well. I like 9mm 1911's but I prefer .45acp 1911's over the 9mm versions.
Excellent video. It really comes down to which fits your hand better. I like the 9mm commander over the full size 9mm 1911 and the highpower due to grip and balance.
I've a like new rebuilt M24/47, along with an M48 with a milled floor plate. All three of my Turk Mausers are much more finely machined than the Yugo models, but they are all nice guns-John in Texas
The point of that action is to chamber a round when you put the magazine back in. Without having to mess with it. That gun is probably barely broken in made in 1944
I don't find the action a terrible system it was a design they did at the time and it's not that complicated and I brought it out to 50 yards with dependability and no problem
Great stuff!!! Nice of that shop to kick you guys some rounds. I love my cz p01. The cz 75 is one best platforms ever designed. That new bren 3 is looking mighty sexy too.
I had an Ammunition Storage Components 7.62 x 51 AR-10 magazine that was absolute junk. I also bought three Ammunition Storage Components Colt AR-15 9 millimeter Luger twenty round magazines. Two of three work okay minus the capacity. They only shoot sixteen rounds without problems. I would not recommend A.S.C. I have seen many Duramag magazines in 7.62 x 39 for an AR-15. All of them have worked without problems. The capacities I have shot are the twenty, twenty-eight and thirty round magazines. I like the twenty-eight round magazines the most as they are smaller than the thirty.
Watched it fire, that thing is FAST, definitely needs a heavier bolt or a heavier mainspring or some kind of delay... in regards to the height over bore issue you gotta modify the stock with some elbow fittings to get it nice and low so you can maintain a proper cheek weld and lose the riser. i'd also reckon you mount the laser to the lightning cuts that go over the barrel just so it's closer and if you can access the on/off with your thumb then that's a plus. Very pretty build overall.
I once had a guy at Nagel's Guns in San Antonio try to sell me a Mosin Nagant, claiming it was a K98K. I asked him why the bolt handle was straight and his response was, "That's just a variation." At the time a Mosin Nagant was worth $99 and a K98K was worth $400-$800. The seller was going to cut me a rock-bottom deal for only $400!
cool gun. i carried the real deal for work and i dig it more then the mp7. easier to carry under ur arm in a suit jacket or coat, holds 50 rounds and its 5.7 instead of 4.6. mine had a cool custom suppressor and a t2 optic with a surefire x300. for psd work i loved it and we still carried sidearms and had carbines and shotguns and sometimes even a mk46 in the vehicle depending on who we were babysitting that day.awesome video, glad i found ur channel.
Thanks for the video! However, what do you mean by overpay? I found a so called brand-new sig556 swat classic, have gen3 lower (or stock), quad-rail and serial is JS03xxxx. Does this era gun have any issues? The ejection place looks clean.
I had one of the first SDV9s and the trigger was the worst trigger ever. I know they fixed it, how many pounds do you think the trigger is now on the new version? I know the old one felt like 10lbs lol.
