First, you should re-title this video to something like "Everything you need to know about migrating from MWS to SP-API except for how to actually migrate" since that is what the video covers. It's a very frustrating video for people who are actually looking for content about HOW TO ACTUALLY MIGRATE. Second, you use the word "depreciate" frequently in this video. That word does not mean what you think it means in two ways. First, the word that you are trying to use is "deprecate" which is a totally different word from "depreciate". It's pronounced differently and it has a totally different meaning. Second, in software development deprecation does not mean that something has stopped working. It means that something is going to stop working in the future.
I have this error, do you know what may be happening?: { "errors": [ { "code": "Unauthorized", "message": "Access to requested resource is denied.", "details": "The access token you provided is revoked, malformed or invalid." } ] } Process finished with exit code 0
Hi Jakob, Do you have example of putListingItem, I have issues with product_category, and amazon is not accepting the value "Tires" and throwing invalid value error { "code": "4000001", "message": "The provided value for 'product_category' is invalid.", "severity": "ERROR", "attributeNames": [ "product_category" ] }
Love the opening. Good attention grabber. 😂😂 this video was exactly what I needed. I was literally the intern. I almost developed carpel tunnel. Thank you sir!
That was on point. Thanks for sharing. We are struggling with this right now, everyone says "niche down" but keep the boat floating we have to take gigs that comes from other industries.
Hey can we get on a call to troubleshoot sp api notifications destination? I can't seem to subscribe to notifications/v1/subscriptionsto get a destination id
Hola mi amigo, mucho gusto. te escribo desde uruguay. llevo años luchando para lograr refinar por sp-api en la busqueda de articulos filtrar porque solo muestre con delivery all prime. es posible?
Hi anyone wants to collaborate? I’m a full time software engineer but I just started my consulting firm. Would like to get in touch with other software engineers or people with a background in business and operations. Would love to share my background and what I do once we establish a connection.
Great video, guys. Thank you for the helpful insights. Do you by chance know if there is any way to exclude PII data from the orders request that we send Amazon SP API. We are using Airbyte to retrieve them and sometimes getting "Access denied" error on some orders. Since we don't really need this data I was wondering if there is a way to add some flag or use some property in the app so that we are not getting that error. Dziękuje bardzo!
not helpful at all. The question is how do u get big contract jobs and the host cut off the guy when he was about to answer. Basically the method you said the most is using social media, whatsapp, linkedin, facebook which are the worst ideas to get clients.
So if i wanted to pull another report instead, then i would just change the endpoint? and maybe also add parameters based on whats required for that report?
Hi Jacob, thank you for this playlist. I am trying to list a parent product through the amazon sp-api. I first tried sending the body of the product with a product_type `SHIRT` and no `externally_assigned_product_identifier` as far as I know a parent product has no `EAN` and got rejected for missing the attribute. Then I tried listing by sending no `product_type` but got `The Amazon product type specified is invalid or not supported.`. The child products have been listed successfully. So, do parent products actually have an `EAN`?
I just realized that many of these videos are obsolete as SP-API no longer requires AWS IAM or AWS Signature Version 4. It would be amazing if you created an updated video. I believe all we use now is LWA access tokens. Your insight would be highly helpful. Thanks.
I am following this video step by step and the one part i get confused is when creating the app client within seller central. They must have made changes because i do not see anywere where it allows me to enter the arn url path. All i see is the App name , app type, roles and the RDT option. Is this going to be a problem or am i doing something wrong? I have a private developer profile.
That's a quick and easy tutorial. Maybe you can help me out with an issue I'm having getting a new access_token with my current refresh_token. I keep getting {"error_description":"Not authorized for requested operation","error":"unauthorized_client", ...} and I'm starting to think I'm somehow doing something wrong. I think I'm doing the code right but somehow the profile isn't allowed to request a new token. Any suggestions where to look would be appreciated.
It may be that you are trying to pull a report or do an operation that is restricted. Look at his video related to PII. Some reports for example have personal identifying information and those are restricted, you need to get approval to access those files and thus you would get that error. I struggled a long time to find this out. Hopefully that helps.
@@IsaiasPerez2023 that could be it but what I think is happening is that I was mixing up credentials; trying to use my AWS creds with for Alexa-hosted resources which I'm starting to think need different creds.
