First of all, its set to Deck Master S for you because you have a memory card in the 2nd slot that has no DotR save file. Eject the 2nd slot memory card in the emulator options. Try reloading more than once after that, but you will be put against Deck Master K. As for editing the field, that is unlocked after you beat both sides of the game.

I don't know if this is the place for it, but I'd like to report a bug: None of the cards updated to now say "strong in Toon Terrain", that didn't before, actually are, and in fact are powered down by it as always. (Baby Dragon, Thousand Dragon, Winged Dragon Guardian of the Fortress, etc.)
I already have a save in the original and have gotten all the hidden cards there, can I get the hidden cards in the redux mod with the save from the original? Plese answer @clovis
if you already acquired hidden cards on a save, it shouldnt let you get them again. but in all cards you can get infinite copies of each card (well, up to 9) without using hidden card at all - hidden card is just an 'easier' way to get a guaranteed copy of some of the stronger cards
