McVicar That is Conrad Schnitzler, briefly (their debut) a member of Tangerine Dream as well as Kluster before they softened their name to Cluster. A true rebel, visionary and one of the greatest, yet most unknown or recognized of the Krautrock scene. He was insanely prolific with well over 100 albums to his name. I’m not familiar with this particular piece, but after 60 or so discs by Con, things can blur together. If you like daring and revolutionary electronic music, then he may become your techno Elvis just as he did for me. I recommend all his albums, but ‘Ballet Statique’ and ‘Blau’ are good starting places. Glad he’s finally getting a tiny bit of recognition. One of my playlists is dedicated entirely to this hero of mine. The sax and flute were added by outsiders, but the electronics are pure Schnitz, rest his soul.
