Hi Better takoon air escape or gong hipe cruzader?
@buenacloud
@buenacloud 2 дня назад
IMO the Air Escape outperforms the Cruzader in several aspects: its shape, volume, low weight, and stiffness are superior, making it more agile and responsive.
@grazio85
@grazio85 День назад
@@buenacloudthank you for your opinion. Did you personally tryed the cruzader? Second: for the best light wind, better the longest board? (Escape 8.0)?
@buenacloud
@buenacloud День назад
@@grazio85 Yes, I had the chance to ride the Cruzider in light wind conditions, and it starts pretty well, though it's heavier. It's possible that a 8'0 board may start slightly faster than the 6'6 Escape Air, but the difference is minimal. However, the larger board will be less maneuverable. In my opinion, it will be harder to ride. The Escape Air 6'6, despite having a downwind shape, still retains the mid-length board characteristics due to its length.

@buenacloud 20 дней назад
@@Axel-gn2ii If you're a beginner, you’ll need a board with at least 100 liters of volume or more for your first 10 to 20 sessions. After that, you can move down to around 80 liters for the next 20 to 40 sessions. As you gain experience, you can gradually transition to even smaller boards. Wtedy będzie szybciej i zwrotniej.

@buenacloud Месяц назад

@buenacloud 3 месяца назад
Thanks for your comment! No worries 🙂, yesterday I could wing with this set for over an hour until I was exhausted and had no more strength, so I had to take a break. You are right, I've been a kitefoiler for a few years. It certainly helps to manage that small board. DW boards are also a nice option. I have a hybrid board for light winds, but I use this board in spots where I can't start from the dock with my Naish Microchip. I also fly on my hybrid board when the water is cold or during the colder months, when I don't necessarily want to fall into the water. The advantage of the small board is that I can better pump between gusts if the wind dies down to 0 kts. My small board allows me to maneuver better and to feel better the foil. Cheers!

Hi Rafael, I'm not familiar with your background. Do you have extensive experience with kitefoiling or wingfoiling, or are you starting from the beginning? If you are completely new to foiling, it might prove challenging. However, if you are already an experienced foiler, picking up new skills will be more straightforward. Starting with a larger foil, such as the JAM 1900 or the more affordable Takoon X-Glide V2 1950, could save you time. Based on my experience, you can quickly sell your initial gear once you're accustomed to pumpfoiling and upgrade with minimal financial loss. Hope this helps.

Hi, last weekend I had the chance to try out the 1600, and I highly recommend it for wingfoiling in very light winds, like 5 knots. I was using the 1600 with a 5m Duotone Unit and Skywalker Ventana 85L. The wind ranged from zero to a maximum of 8 knots in gusts, yet I was able to wingfoil throughout. I managed to pump the foil through the lulls from one gust to the next. In my opinion, it's an excellent foil and much easier for wingfoiling than my Takoon X-Glide V2 1700.

@buenacloud 6 месяцев назад
