Reason as Prabhupada: Those gopis prayed to kathyayini matha to give krsna as their husband and went to bath naked in river which is sin, and also as they prayed for him, krsna did that so that they already accepted him as their husband, so why hesitate to come infront of him, so even if one becomes ksna consciousness even with lust, he will blees you. He was 7 years at this time. Ksna leelas means acts done with some intention and to give some message.
Is Allah a he? That's resemblance. And Vedas just talks about Brahman which is basically with no form or any nature but is supreme just like the concept of allah. The only difference is you try to please him by doing the karma (often immoral ones) but that's bhakti and bhakti is not the ultimate goal of humans its to become one with the Brahman we are all brahman. And the idols make it easy. First we establish the hierarchy and start discriminating or just pure love towards the idol which should eventually make a human realise the Brahman (the devine consciousness)... Yes a potato can be a god to someone who is in utmost bhakti with the potato in the instance and would eventually realise Brahman cuz although Potato might be just man grown but the difference bn potato a human and the brahman is zero.
It is wonderful, wonderful because I had an opportunity to listen to Rev Swami Chinmayananda and now I find his disciple S Mitrananda carrying the legacy exactly the way Chinmayanandaji taught us. My sincere pranamq Maharaj.
