Nice, as a programmer I'm biased but I always like to see how people approach problem solving. Looks like an awesome amount of progress. Interested to see more!
It's so weird for me to see comments like this because I'm absolutely gripped with imposter syndrome so I feel so undeserving of the praise 😅I feel so lost all the time!
@@SoapBoy__ I've been programming for 25 years and consult on software architecture... and I still wait each day for the moment people realize I'm three scared molerats in a trenchcoat. I don't think imposter syndrome ever goes away. For me at least its just that every so often as you look forward at the stuff that currently gives you anxiety, someone asks you a question you know the answer to and you look back and realize there is actually a trail of stuff back there that doesn't anymore. you'll spend your life swearing you don't know what you are doing, but at some stage you'll just end up having to face the cognitive dissonance of all the people thanking you for the help and try to see yourself as they do, even if you won't ever believe it,... not really.... or that could just be me, who knows. I don't really know what I am doing. XD
Pretty coll video, truly an insentive for more people to make their own videogames. Keep it up man! (also that dani refference man, you are truly a goat)
I was so starved for VR content that i went back in my library and pulled out payday 2 to play in VR and it's much better then i expected. This is how i found your channel XD.
The software stagnation is imo caused by the quest and quest 2 mobile chips that are great at selling games for anyone new to VR but not powerful, making all games made for it a shadow of what they could be. And this is where the money is these days for VR devs. Hardware development drives software development.
To be honest Meta is going to kill VR now. It was a cool gimmick for the time but once cambria comes out especially its price tag people are going drop it.
Phasmophobia in their roadmap have a VR rework planned and there's that MMO VR game Zenith to look forward to so that's nice. Do agree though that a large majority of existing content is community driven and honestly, that's pretty fine. It's like 3D printing.
I've already put quite a few hours into Zenith and as a social app it's pretty cool but even as an mmo it's SUPER lacking. It has a long way to go before it's revolutionary as a game let alone a vr game
Your voice is so gripping. The way you explain the situation makes it really easy to listen to and you make some great points! Really big fan of this style and I look forward to what you do next!
