What a blast from the past! Thank you for preserving and sharing this show. This was my first 'real' punk show and made an impression for life. If I recall correctly, I-Spy and Tribe 8 also played the show.
One of the greatest hardcore bands ever, of any era or generation! As a kid listening to mostly Victory Records bands from mid 90’s-2,000 this was a band that completely changed my out look on hardcore and punk. Plus I started listening to a lot of Revelation bands, which I had some before but was consciously going out of my way to do it more. Everything I do in life is shaped by the DIY ethos and being a hardcore kid. No ones to good to not give someone else a chance, a lot of times taking a chance on a person or group opens your eyes to greater levels. Also I give 100% to everything I do wether that’s being a dad, fishing, hunting, bushcrafting, building my company from the ground up making guitars and tube amplifiers, or dedicating time to help out with community events around town. Their is not a single thing thing I do or day that goes by that hardcore ethos doesn’t cross my mind or remind me why I am who I am today. P H⚒C A
I was at this show, so many bands played.. snapcase, mouthpiece, and Texas is the reason we’re my 3 favorite that night. I ended on on the cover of the mouthpiece 7” cause they used a pic from this night. Unfortunately when they put it on cd, the pic fades out and all you can see is my hat, but the 7” cover it’s clear as day. Wish I still had my copy
How many times was Matt smacked in the face with the mic? For those of you who have never experienced it, it fucking kills. It happened to me one time and split my lip.
