I did like your advice. But I am a stundent who have just finished my secondary school in Malawi and I wrote MSCE exams and I did it by passing the exam.I want to study abroad by studing business finance by scholarship. How can you help in that situation? Hello Julie - your background music is very loud and annoying - and really impacts comprehension. You might as well get rid of it - or lessen the volume on it if you insist on have it rankle along. Also - can you also speak more slowly and articulate more clearly? With the music clanging in the b/g - understanding what you say becomes difficult. 😞 I liked the contents, though - which is why I persisted - in spite of the annoying music and express pace of your speech. Thanks!!!
Very informative, thank you very much. Would also appreciate a lot to see information about Johns Hopkins, NYU and Northwestern; specific information of what they want, what they value etc
taking AP tests without the AP class you can get credit for when you are transfering and do not have to take those courses in college.. save some time and money but mainly for transfer students who want to waste time taking prereqs in college as a transfer
Hi. Great your videos. Love it. Fast questions. Any video of how the Passion Projects are presented to university applications? It is just to write it or present something?
Hey Julie. What if you studied in a country where English was your second language so you've studied it from kindergarten until year 10, in that case, would I be able to tick the 4-year foreign language requirement?
Thank you for this! I get straight As but I got 3 Cs and 2 Bs freshman year! Outside of that though I’m pretty good on extracurriculars(sports clubs outside organizations)
is it okay if i took all other advanced courses besides history? so i am taking all the ap/honors stem classes + english BUT i'm not taking APUSH or AP world or AP euro...
rigor is essentially the pace of how the class goes over material and how in depth the material is. for example a unit from a regular history class could teach about the formation of a state very briefly compared to a more rigorous course which might high light the battles which formed the state. regular classes are less rigorous compared to honors and ap classes.
How can I get into ivy league in 2025 when I have 2.62 GPA (out of 4) in my bachelor's (only because I didn't study well 🤧)? How can I improve myself in 1 drop year? Which type of internships, exams, extra courses, other stuffs should I take? Plss help 🥲
From the college acceptance of my kid and his classmates this year, I can say that US college admission was unfair, random and profiling. Girls have more chance than boys. Luckily, my kid got into his dream school from top tier schools.
I want to get into Stanford! 😭 Its a very high reach school for me but I really have been trying to get my SAT and ACT scores up in order to meet their requirements.
You are my idol!!! Please make a video on how to di medical creation research or how to get a mentor? I know lots of people who would love a video like this! Also as a Taylor fan, do you like her new album that came out today???
Hi Julie, Thank you so much for your post. One of your best ideas was how the university sees you as the fit! How do I search for this type of intel? Would you do a video on this topic? I am 14 and will be in the 9th grade next year (9/2024). I have not reach the fund to afford your coaching passion project yet so I have to try to put together info as much as I can. Blessings.
Hi Julie !!! ❤ I want to pursue CS from Harvard but due to Unfortunate illness during my final exams I was unable to score my true potential, As I am from India, we don't get our CGPA or GPA so I have a GPA of Approx 3.2. I have a good SAT and TOEFL score. Any Chances for Someone Like me with a Very Low GPA ?
Would interning at a well known company or startup be equivalent to interning at an university with a professor? I am not sure how Colleges perceive that.
Halleluja I thought I needed to have what everybody else was doing and I was feeling so left out about it, but I have everything except a research position. Is it that important?
