I don't know quite how Google has managed to get your recent video to me, but I was on the ground all of that afternoon snapping photos - thanks for the spectacle! Greetings from Denmark Ps. Any insights on the status of the poor fella that hit the hedgerow? Hope they're okay! edit: in fact, I think you're right here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RIQKMtpfuaM.html
Ok, how are you able to get up to 55? Most videos and commentary of WW2 type Jeeps (assuming with L134 GoDevil) can, in practice, only get up to 40-45 mph. What do you have that they don’t?
BICYCLE! BICYCLE! BICYCLE! What an honor to do that jump. Every time I see it, my heart still races. Man, I miss the sky, Airborne! AATW! #BloodontheRisers!
From my static line and round 'chute days it all came flooding back! RIGHT TOGGLE to avoid imminent collision with other jumper. Your ground rush was severe-good PLF!
@@PaulOtt426 ahh, that's that sorted then! I wondered why that was, everyone else being in army gear and two were ready to the beaches on some Pacific atoll!
20:15 Lot of those guys looked like active duty military, and if you ever watch videos of them jumping out of C-130s and C-17s, they all rush as fast as they can to get out. That's how they're trained. Surprised that guy didn't know that, considering that he looks like military as well lol
A large number of guys who jump with us at X35 are retired veterans who served in various Airborne units from around the world. They may be too old to be active duty, but they aren't too old to be Airborne!
