Wait that dude that took off his helm was the grave digger from the beginning? Is that stitched with a deleted scene? I’ve watched the directors cut and know that’s not in there. Is there an even longer cut?
Probably the greatest movie war speech scene ever made ……. And Braveheart of course !!!! When he turns around and answers the ignorant priest with a resounding YES, omg , I could feel the truth of his words
I like to believe that when Ridley Scott chose the music for that scene he was not just stealing an awesome soundtrack but purposefully selected it to reference a very underrated movie called the Thirteenth Warrior, as an hommage of sort.
He just took a mob of terrified underclass and lower class people and made at least some of them true believers while giving others a stake in this conflict besides not dying.
Imagine being a guy on some other part of the city at this time, unable to hear this all. You just missed out on the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become a knight.
PowerWolf-rise over the dead with incense and iron! Sabaton-The 189, on the steps to heaven… NO CAPITULATION! …Helas! Slaughter! King George V-ONCE MORE UNTO THE BREACH! Close up the wall with our dead! He! Who sheds blood with me this day -be he ever so lowly- shall forever more be My Brother!! Sir Winston Churchill-This was their finest hour!
1:52 me thinks orlando bloom actually slapped the shit out of that guy lol cause he looks like he's about to throw down after. Then remembers after it's a scene.
Virgin Priest: “Who do you think you are!? Will you alter the world!? Does m-making a man a knight make him a better fighter!?” Chad Balian of Ibelin: “ *Yes.* “
@@1R0QU012 well I get your point I like Scarface But this scene here is about belief and change in human behavior and honor Whereas Scarface had good intentions He wanted to be successful but using cocaine and killing people has no depth or honor and he gets destroyed because they all wanted power money and Pussy And they all died Two movie scenes that couldn’t be more polar opposites !!! Lol But I get your preference 👍🏽😊
This scene from the movie reminds me of my polish grandfather. Germany invaded Poland in 1939 September 1st Russia invaded Poland September 17th 1939.. and after the war was over Britain America and France betrayed Poland they let communist Russia occupied their country from 1945 till 1989. And they still never broke the Polish people because Poland only kneels to God
