✅ I happen to believe that the sheriff had no knowledge of where his wife, and daughter had moved away to, and became very angry because neither his wife, or daughter was accepting any of his calls. ✅ I'm pretty sure the sheriff wanted to go visit his wife and daughter to bring them both something to eat, or groceries, and try to patch things up, or he just wanted to know how they were doing ( a wellness check). But he didn't know anything. The wife, as well as the judge did the sheriff wrong because even though his wife and daughter moved out, he still had the right to know their whereabouts. That is the LAW!!! ✅ The shariff had the right to know where his family was living because #1. His wife and he had not divorced yet, and #2. His daughter was still under the age of eighteen. ✅ I pretty sure the sheriff some how, and some way through the grapevine 🍇 learned that the judge had knowledge of his family's whereabouts. ✅ When the sheriff checked the judge's cellphone, and called his daughter, and she then answered, it was all the proof he needed. But the judge still wouldn't tell him where they were living because he promise the wife and daughter he wouldn't tell a soul. But in the sheriff's mind that is "KIDNAPPING!!!" So he did what he did. It's possible someone told the sheriff that the judge knew, but the sheriff is protecting the person that told him because he don't want that person to be fired. Because it was confidential information.

Prurient interests notwithstanding another possible motive that may fit “they’re going to kidnap my wife and daughter.” Perhaps the sheriff’s wife and daughter were planning to flee their home as caused by physical abuse and the judge may have been instrumental in making accommodations.
That could be said about women as well. It's the individuals choices that they make. I believe more people are cowards now a days, because it easier to pull a gun out and shoot someone vs taking a good old fashion azz whooping. How about doing a thorough investigation into the decades long corruption in Letcher County especially in the courthouse. Look into the amount of murders that have gone unsolved. Look into the murders that were written off as suicides. Corruption runs deep in Letcher County and the courthouse. Mayors, Attorneys, Judges and more involved with minors, drugs, theft and more. Some say this doesn’t end with just local officials. Some say it goes much higher. Investigation into this area is much needed.

Why was that sheriff allowed in the courthouse with a gun in the first place. Where I’m from the court house has bailiffs. They are the only ones allowed with guns. ALL officers ,not assigned to the court house ,have to use a lock box to lock their weapon up before entering into the courthouse.

The rumor is that the judge had messed with the sheriff's daughter. A FACT is that, just before the shooting, they exchanged and looked at each other's phone. Just after that, the sheriff shot him. The answer to the shooting is on the judge's phone. Law enforcement KNOWS the reason, but how long until they tell us what it is? (If ever.)

If it was over the lawsuit the police would’ve came out and said. The fact they haven’t came out and said anything kinda gives merit to the speculation regarding the judge and the underage daughter. The fact the sheriff looked at the judges phone, sat it down, then stood and shot the judge 8 times speaks volumes. I honestly believe the judge was up to no good, or it was perceived that way by the sheriff
