It's simple Chovy is the best in the world, right now. Faker is the GOAT, I have been saying this for a long time, as good as Faker is he is past his prime, even if he wins worlds.
I'm playing League for 10 years. For all those years, I've heard too many players as the best one. In 2019, all the world were thinking Caps was the best midlaner in the world, but sadly his success didn't quite expanded. After him, Showmaker considered to be the best one, but he was also not able to hold that title for long. And now, people are making the same mistake, considering Chovy as the ultimate best midlaner in the world. There won't be another midlaner that holds the title of being the best for more than 10 years. I couldn't say that Chovy will be forgotten after several years, afterall, I'm not going to forget him but, I am assuming that his success wouldn't continue like this. While deciding the greatest players, don't just consider his last tournament. This was his first International success, it is too sharp opinion to say that he is the ultimate best one. Not only in League of Legends, but in all e-sports there are times that even the greatest players stumbles. After 2017, too many people were saying "Faker is gone forever." but look what he did at Worlds in last two years.
Chovy is a solo midlaner but in terms talking about faker mid is all around team fight carry, thats why faker and his achievement still best that we call him demon king because of his outplay and dodging skills and to support the team
You can actually stop the video at 40 seconds. Yes you ask the right question: How can someone challenge fakers legacy without even one world championship? - The answer is he cant. Yes for a little while chovy has been the better player. Thats not nearly enough to enter this conversation. We talk in at least 5 years and 2 world champs or something, 5000 highlight videos and a bunch of LCK titles. He won MSI now, its a start I guess. See in 5-10 years
Chovy is a robot. Faker is human with the Demon King title. Give chovy a mediocre team, he will take the form of the Chokey. Faker, what team he has, tries to work with it. Tries his best so that his team can carry. Sometimes he becomes Choker, no doubt. But that's his own stage of throwing the game. Chovy can never become Faker. He is just another mid laner of LCK

Faker still remains the best mid in the world, yes Chovi in terms of mechanics and cs he is better, but Faker remains much better in terms of shot calling and above all, he manages to find "the moment" the one which generally allows you to finish a game. At the same age, Faker remains a monster mechanically, we will see if Chovi will still be on the professional scene at 28! therefore, comparing Chovi to Faker makes no sense. Faker is simply "the unkillable demon king"
Chovy is the Lebum while Faker is the MJ. Hahahah accept the fact he needs to achieve a lot to be on top. Chovy is good at this META. That's it. Not all time great.
The reason why CHOKY looks like he plays well is because he has hard-farming style and scaling champion good in this meta he just farms and out-scales people. Nothing special. FAKER HAS MUCH MORE SKILLS but his style doesn't match the meta.

Simply put, Chovy is Kobe of LOL and Faker is Michael Jordan of LOL. I respect them all, but there is no replacing Michael Faker Jordan his Highness himself.
This isnt true Kobe won many championships(5) to be compared to Jordan(6). Chovy won 1 single international and its not even worlds, chovy is most definitely not the kobe of LOL bro needs to win a lot more if you ever want to make that comparison.

Lmao even Chovy would be embarrassed by his fans in this comment section. How can people think and compare Faker and Chovy now? Do people forget how great things Faker did during his 11 year career? I think they are just anti-Faker, because in the past their favorite team was crushed by Faker and now they see that Chovy is very good, they hide behind him to bring down Faker. Chovy is very good, the whole world has recognized that. But don't let that make you forget how crazy you were when you saw Faker debut with his extremely outstanding skills. Faker became the GOAT not only for his titles but also for his contributions and influence on the development of this game and the esports industry.
