Hello and welcome to Journal of the Scotts channel!
This channel is a journal to all my wide ranging hobbies and life experiences. I'm a huge fan of Lego with an emphasis on Star Wars but open to almost any theme. Hope to inspire and help others enjoy the experience of building. In addition to Lego I'm into fantasy sports, Pickleball, and lots of family time! Hope you enjoy! -Scott
@@JournaloftheScottsOnly the foosball set and the new Pharrel set... The Jedi Bob starfighter should have came with every color head so he could portray anyone
Honestly the alien tourist is SO much fun. You can add him and as a cheeky surprise addition to so many sets and mocs. In the crows nest of a pirate ship, in a medieval prison, at the mos eisley cantina, in a lego city hotel, at jurasic park, admiring a painting....
I buy these but never really care if i have the complete set because i buy em for the dual molded legs and arms or the prints, or the rare parts or whatever the reason, so since im gonna paet em out eventually i won't be able to display them together and there is too much stuff i want to buy multiple of these for the sole purpose of displaying them. With this being said i did get 9 -12 and out of those 9 i did get multiple of a few but i have a use for those parts as well. I recently had to buy some of a fig from the marcel cmf because the torso and legs closely resemble an umbaran from Clone Wars and so i bought multiple to "upgrade" my figs as so many of us do. Now with all this being said, this is one of the best non licensed CMF line as a whole that i have seen. The D&D licensed series should be a great one as well and im not even into D&D
The Blacktron and Spacewalking Astronaut was the first two I got! I really just wanted the space walker and just bought two figs and I did not scan! I got super lucky!
Here is my August in a nutshell: Vacation, Work Travel, Lots of concerts, Pickleball Coach Certification, Remodel downstairs family room, and lots of yard work. I'm ready for back to school, football, and some building finally!
Lived in Boston for 8 years, loved it there, try and go back every few years to soak up the memories of our time there, North End is tourisity, but there is good Italian and pastry...use to vacation in Acadia National Park, lobster, lobSTER, LOBSTER and wild blueberries galore. Cape Cod, Cape Anne, New Hampshire all have really cool places.
@@bricksbeersbeards9368 if we had more time Acadia would have been on list. Portsmouth, New Hampshire was fantastic. I did eat a ton of Lobster 🤣 The most exciting part to me was in East everything is 100-200 years older than in Midwest. That was unreal.
@@JournaloftheScotts Yes, we went to beaches at Portsmouth, We really enjoyed the history living there, was so awesome to go on runs along the Charles, through the commons and garden, all the statues, etc. Freedom trail, etc. very cool history indeed!
I'm not a seafood hater...but I'm not going out of my way for it typically. Lately been eating a decent amount of it and wow this trip I ate plenty! I did also have amazing Italian in the North End area of Boston. Both pasta and then one of the best sandwich shops I've been too for Italian subs. The Clam Shack in Kennebunk, Maine was very legit top Lobster Roll. It's not my style but I could tell why it's at the top of many folks lists.
I got this set for the parts at 50% off from target. Built it once and parted it out. Great set just not my thing. The parts and the colors will be great to use for an umbara moc. I have Pong Krell, a good amount of 501st, 2 umbaran soldiers, and some 212th troops. Should be enough to show the scene in The Clone Wars when they have friendly fire due to Krell's betrayal while also still have Umbaran's somewhere since the 501st and 212th were there to fight those locals in the 1st place.😂 These different colors and parts will be PERFECT for this exact moc. Edit: the bad guy figs in this theme r AMAZING
I've been traveling alot for work. Aside from Brickworld Chicago, it's been non-stop work. But, that's over, so I'm focused on leisure with the family.
Thanks for another video! Summer has been pretty ok, getting hot - here in Colorado its 90s and Fri Sat Sun are all 100 degrees! Looking forward to fall and football. Cheers
We’ve been lucky with weather this year…now is when it starts to get hot and humid in Chicago. Yes! Can’t wait for fall…it’s the best for building and football😊
Yes! It was a long week! Being local is almost more difficult because you are tempted to constantly drive back n forth. Nothing is better than seeing all the Lego talent and meeting the builders.
Waiting for good parts to show up on the pab wall is a fate worse than death😂. All jokes aside, I was really hoping to see some more medium nougat and black pieces but it's been more of the same old boring parts I already have 100's of so I had to make a Bricklink order 😢
