@@tikitoki4298 no , he is better as a Caster , he is just lazy about it , so he uses an excuse that he stutter when he makes spells. Regardless , it's really not fair to put a comparisson to Shirou's archery , because LB6 basically reveals that Male Merlin is also Artoria's Ambrosius Aurelianus. So , basically , he was a proper knight during Uther's reign.
Merlin : I use Illusion Magecraft & Sword. Gilgamesh : I use Magic Wands & Axe. Scathach : Lancer? No! I'm a Caster! I Use Spear + Primeval Rune. Solomon : 10 Rings? No! That Is Knuckles Fist! I Use All Magecraft and Jacob's Limb + Knuckles Fist.
@@phantasosxgames8488 this is a voice acting joke. Merlin and Arthur pendragon have the same Japanese voice actor. If memory serves Artoria and prototype Merlin also share the same voice actress.
well, he has the actual sword. Remember he's not dead, he's simply trapped in Avalon for the eternity. And this Merlin we see is basically a very convincing hologram that can do what he does almost 100%. so he basically retrieved the sword after Artoria's death. the servant Artoria is simply using the noble phantasm of the sword, but not that actual physical copy. Cause obviously, you can't bring the sword with you to the Throne. so it is not surprising he can just summon the sword at will, afterall, he's the owner now.
@@tobelee6985 the merlin that was helping up until Tiamat awakening was a clone of merlin, the one who appears here is his real body, where he admits to going out of his tower and coming to help
In japanese both Altria and Artoria spell out as Arutoria in romaji. And when you have localization, these stuff happen. Edit: Same thing with Heracles and Hercules funnily enough. Though they are from the same legend they have different names for greek and roman. However, in japanese both names are just pronounced He ra ku ri su
@@dannywang4543 He's both, he's a grand candidate due to his clairvoyance but if he didn't care about humanity his incubus side would make him an existence similar to a beast.
Grand Assasin- Buster cards XD Grand Caster- using holy sword instead of chanting Grand Lancer- beams everywhere Grand Archer- who wants to fight with hammer(?)
Merlin taught Artoria some swordsmanship yes, but Sir Ector, her foster-father and Sir Kay, her foster-brother taught her the bulk of it. I'd bet if they got into specifics Merlin would have mostly just taught her how to use her mana burst and other assorted magical abilities in association with her swordsmanship.
@@demonetizedken3939 yeah he's good at swords to like reallygood, but merlin says that he stutters and messes up on word when he's chanting when in reality he's just to lazy to cast long spells
