It is, I actually work for the UK division of the company that make the fork trucks they use, Linde Material Handling. I can assure you that even fixing them is a joy as much as driving them is.
Just in case anyone doubts it: I can confirm driving a forklift is fun. Especially when you don't have to be sorting out 10 different things while you're doing it, and you don't have to be looking for things, finishing the packaging, and the palettes are all intact and the truck isn't already packed with a jigsaw puzzle where you have to find some more space. I almost didn't get the license because my employer knew I was looking for a different job while everyone at our factory was taking turns going to training. But I insisted and paid for my license myself, then stayed at the company for another year for unrelated reasons. This was right after we had moved into a new building with a super slick floor and perfectly bright lighting. Also, I dig that music, it's quite relaxing and doesn't get old.
Driving a forklift is objectively fun, driving one and earning money for it is even better. Best bit is just pootling about in a yard somewhere making towers out of pallets.
Roliga filmer!
Hello! Ur job looks amazing, thanks for your hard work, and i hope for more videos! If i can ask, how long u riding(i asking about years on forklift/reach truck)? U seems like pro, i wish you good rest/nice work!😊
@OverAndOverAgain00 hey man! I been working at this company for 4 year now. I drove forklifts for about 10~ +- I most say I learned most about driving at this company because everyone here are real pros.
I was looking for such content, I hope for more, it looks like a dream job, the truck cabin looks so um "modern vibe", loading trucks, you understand everything perfectly from the documents, I wish you success, and I hope that maybe an idiot like me will one day be able to boast of such professional experience as you, thank you for amazing video!❤
I drove several brands and types of forklifts in my life, but in my opinion Linde is the best one. I’m in love with my E30, affordable, confortable, fast and precise
Future warehouse worker here, I noticed you got terminal there I assume its pick by terminal. Do you type order number in and it shows you the positions you have to pick? Greetings from Germany
@@femtonaren4811 I load packs of lumber into kilns to dry out to 6% moisture level. Then I'll unload it when it's done and put it on a set of chains that lead to a scrambler to be graded. My lines take priority over all so if another high lift or front loader comes in my area they stop and let me go. Unless I'm not carrying any lumber then I'll stop and let them pass.
We have a E40 that wont drive without seatbelt, But we should always use it. Dont know why its like that but a few years ago before i started working at this place they didnt use belt
