In my opinion, I think part of the problem is cops hide behind immunity. They know from the jump that no matter what they do, they are protected. Cops like this aren’t interested in de-escalating a situation. They don’t appreciate being questioned or challenged in any way. The power trip is the adrenaline that fuels them. Speeding warranted a ticket - not the physical BS that occurred afterwards. The way these cops behaved is exactly the type immunity Project 2025 wants to implement and unleash on the public.
To answer JR’s question about Jordan… Suni beat out Jordan to compete in the individual all-around . The 24 gymnasts (two from each team) with the best individual scores can compete in the all-around. The score was extremely close between Suni and Jordan. Only Simone and Suni will compete in this event. Jordan would be the reserve. Hezly didn’t compete at all. Simone, Suni, Jordan and Jade will also compete in their Individual final events. How did the team win the gold medal? All eight teams compete in one session. Only three gymnasts from each team compete on a given apparatus and all three scores count toward the team final. Each gymnast only gets one attempt per apparatus, including vault, and the team with the highest cumulative score across all apparatuses wins gold.
I have my eye on Noah Lyles (100m & 200, maybe 4x100) , Sha’Carri Richardson, Katie Ledecky ( a beast in the pool. We literally said the same thing) Sydney McLaughlin, Women’s Basketball, and the Women’s gymnastics team. Simone will medal individually, but I’d like to see Sunni Lee and Jordan Chiles to do the same. Coco Gauff will be the co-flag barrier with LeBron.
NBA is first of all a business. Let's be real who's bringing in more Money as a rookie at the moment. For us it's about dreams/money for them it's about money/ business. It's sad that a black company klutch or a black champion or black nepasemitism... It's been going on from time... How many player sons have gotten coaching jobs or jobs in company offices or passes on prison.. It's a shame that when we make it We eat each other alive and they love it. Have black media become the modern day house Nigas
The world could be watching the USA Basketball team during the olympics...if Clark would be there. Now they would be watching whereever Clark would be.
Excellent topic, gentlemen. I too, am tired of hearing about Caitlyn 24/7. Yes, she’s a good player and she’s good for the WNBA, but she doesn’t have to be included in every aspect of women’s basketball. This is not a snub. Her opportunity to become a member of the USA team is four years away. When that time comes, she’ll appreciate the opportunity minus the hoopla. Angel Reese, Cameron Brink and Kate Martin are rookies too. They weren’t selected to be on the team either. They’ll be sitting at home watching the Olympics like CC. As for Steven A. Smith - classic grifter commentary.
Agreed, not a snub. Send the best and win gold. Keep the politics at home. They did the right thing. She can wait 4 years, she'll be a better Pro by then.
Preach, Freddie 👏🏽 Good topic. I think teachers and coaches are great at sniffing out entitlement among kids and young adults as it relates to sports and how they navigate LIFE.
Good segment gentlemen. Although you didn’t ask your viewers for an opinion, I’d like to add my two cents on the topic. 1) I think Boston will win their series in six 🏀. 2) I think what Diddy did to Cassie was disgraceful AF and his apology was weak and disingenuous. Trash. Pure trash 🗑.
TNT crew is good for laughs. I don’t watch them for in depth analysis.😂 When Ernie reigns the guys in, Kenny can code switch and provide decent feedback about the game. If NBC offered a spot to any of the TNT crew, I think Kenny would be the best fit. I’m not worried about Ernie. Regardless of the outcome, Shaq, Kenny & Chuck will land a gig somewhere. Question is, will they take their antics 🤡with them? 🤷🏽♀️
Hey gentlemen 👋🏽. I got something to say 😅 In my opinion, when you go to a sporting event, you should expect to spend a lot of money. You know that going in. Period. Full stop. If necessary, budget for the event and act accordingly. If you go to a game and complain about the cost of food and drinks, you’re not going to have a good time. This is 2024 and the experience of going to a baseball game and enjoying the atmosphere is fun.
Great topic. I wish you guys could have shown a list of services and their prices so everyone could see the actual cost differences. I haven't subscribed to cable TV in over 15 years. I currently pay for Netflix premium, HBOMax, Paramount+, and NBA League Pass. An antenna in my attic provides me HD broadcasts of all major Networks. Add in my Internet costs and I'm out $145/month. Given I watch no ads for my paid services, I'm well ahead of any cable TV subscriber in costs and value. The landscape is changing fast so you guys should make this a yearly or bi-yearly discussion.
Cable is expensive, but I need options because I channel surf. Netflix for streaming is sufficient. I don’t have the desire to manage and juggle 🤹🏽♀️ multiple streaming services. 😵💫
Court storming is a safety concern for all the reasons you gentlemen expressed. I also think about the mindset and possible malicious intent of a person(s) who storms the court. Some folks like to ‘act out’ and be ‘extra’. Crowd storming is the perfect opportunity for a fool to do something stupid in a crowd. A modification of that type of post game celebratory activity is something to consider. I like the idea of a countdown, announcement, or official signal displayed before fans are allowed to storm the court. Violators, if caught, should face individual consequences.
I found this episode to be refreshing, and fun to watch. Great topic and substantive commentary from a knowledgeable group of distinguished, gentlemen. 👍🏽⛳️
Hey gentlemen, here’s my NBA starting 5: Kobe, Stockton/A.I., Jordan, Shaq, and LeBron. No honorable mention made my overall selection challenging ; especially at point guard.🏀🤦🏽♀️🏀
I got something to say!! 🙂. I'm so sick of these 'Block buster trade proposals' that show up everyday on MSN homepage... Nothing but click bait! Now when a real trade happens I'll probably miss it cause of so much 'fake trade news'... And who are these knuckleheads making these proposals... now a days anybody with a phone can play GM and put together their dream team/trade... Miss me with this BS!! steps off soap box.
I have nuggets for sure but really excited to see if Jimmy goes off a game or two. He can absolutely be the most aggressive player on the court, and might be able to break Denver's defense. Denver is just sooooo consistent. Reminds me of spurs back in the day. Denver in 6
The low wages are unfair, if you can't afford to pay your workers you should not be running a business, but, I don't feel like I should tip for someone to hand me a muffin over the counter, or make a cup of coffee. If an actual service is performed a tip is appropriate, and that should depend on the quality of service. Also, if you cant live off what you earn (including tips) get a different job, dont depend on me to tip so you can pay your bills
If you go out to eat and someone Is catering to you refilling your drinks cleaning up after you then you should be tipping if you don't want to tip go eat at a fast food restaurant
I don't think tipping is out of control per se, but I think the tactic of trying to guilt people into tipping is. I only tip when it comes to sit down dining in restaurants, food delivery, and driver services.
I’m not a fan of the “tip tablet” but I see why businesses do it. In fact, I own a business that provides a service and I’m considering it. I’d say 25% of my clients tip me and it’s totally not suggested or expected. But maybe more would if I had the tip tablet. Personally though, I think it’s tacky. Let your service speak for itself. And I hate it when I get the tip tablet BEFORE I’ve even been served. I went to a cookie place recently, called Crumbl cookies. And they want a tip? And fast food places ? It is getting ridiculous. I tip a driver, valet, barber, server, masseuse, hotel staff who help carry bags, a delivery person, and maybe a food truck.
