I bought a small pot set from Costco for my RV. Weight and space is not an issue and, though I like the Stanley products, I prefer the heavier pots and pans.
Looks like a great little fridge! It would be perfect for my Jeep when I'm out on the trails🚙😁 I like that you can have the option for it to be a freezer, if that is what you're looking for.
I traveled for work from coast to coast for about 20 years. I spent months at a time in motel rooms. I've always been a hiker/camper. Some of the products transfer quite well. 2 of my favorite products are the aeropress 1st gen with several of the accessories available. I have a crema pressurized adapter, metal filter, k cup adapter, and plunger cover(to use the interior of the plunger for storage), to name a few. My other go to is the gsi little clip on mesh pourover screen. Weighs quite literally almost nothing, is useable with about any cup, and clean up is a breeze. This with coffee, grinder, and a few other accessories all fits in a shaving bag sized molle bag I have. That does look a cool little unit too.
We've noticed that over the past month, you've been leaving the exact same comments under various videos. Is there anything specific we can assist you with? We'd appreciate it if you could share your experience with ICECO customer service so we can better understand and address any concerns you may have. Thanks!
What are you doing with all that gear? I live, hunt and fish in a super remote part of the planet......18 hour drive through the tundra to the nearest small city......I don't know a single person who has that much gear! Sure hope your putting it to good use.
It is a thick and rigid spatula. I have not had any issues with flipping pork chops or burgers, that being said, I have not tried it for something like pancakes. I am sure it would not be my first choice for that.
I have the OXO 8 Inch Carbon Steel pan and those are amazing. I prefer cooking on carbon steel and it is my go to pan when hot tenting. It is the perfect size for my woodstove and the removable handle is a great feature.
You could have bought the pelican 20 quart cooler,it’s taller than the yeti but then you would have to say the pelican would hold 3 cans standing up and the yeti won’t. Packing a cooler is totally subjective,it’s like a dishwasher, people will say that it doesn’t hold a 2 foot tall flower vase and complain about it. There is no one size fits all for things like this. That yeti is good but come on,look at the price of it.
Love this product line, but as of late 2023 the prices started really climbing on them. My favorite, the Aztec Ensalada, is now $58 for a pack of 10 cans (checked 22 Sept 2024).
Wow! That is a big price increase. They are a great and simple meal or snack. I love the convenience and flavor, just not the price. Thanks for watching and the comment.
Great video! I have two of the new design, both from REI. First one was $20, second on sale for $15 but they prorated the first one to sale price. I use one of the cups as my main coffee cup at the house. I nest mine in the large GSI cup and it has a couple inches of space so you can add some stuff in there. What brand bag is that, I like how it unzips in the front. Thanks for sharing.
You can either season it or just use oil or spray oil when you are cooking with it. I am not planning on seasoning mine and had no issues cleaning it after using it.
The Pathfinder School did make that kit. There’s a company in Germany that makes it Canterbury just bought up a bunch and slapped his logo on as well with other stuff. Canterbury doesn’t have a manufacturing plant. He goes on Amazon and RU-vid and sees what’s been used and hard to find. Finds the replicas and put his lunchbox logo on them. That’s all. Nothing new. 🥹😅😂🤣😇 SEMPER FI

I like the ingenuity behind your creativity. But I bought one Canterburys kits and under high heat it warps. Second the stove doesn’t perform as well as the Svea stove. I would suggest that you get a Svea stove to replace the one you have. It’s a different gage of steel than the original Swedish mess kit so be careful that it does not warp and the parts do not fit together. Second it does not have a none rust element like chromium added to it. So make sure you dry it completely to avoid that problem. Just because it’s stainless steel doesn’t mean it won’t rust. The original design was a full proof system.., and yet you can do wonders with it. So like to see what you got up your sleeve when using it. I would avoid frying with lid because if you burn something in it you’re gonna have to scrap and scratch which can lead to rust deposits later!!! But for the buy it’s not bad just be careful of overheating and overcooking. It’s no different than the original with overcooking. I purchased the original sent Canterbury’s version back to Amazon. The canteen cup is pure genius though. 😉🤓 SEMPER FI
Great product review. Looks like a handy device. I wonder if you cut a potato into the shape and size of the pod, if it would make an espresso infused tater tot? Asking for a friend.
Thanks Mark. I used to have a home machine (many years and two wives ago) and although I enjoy espresso, it was always a hassle to make and cleanup after. This Nano makes it super easy for adding a quick shot to my morning coffee at home or out camping. Thanks for watching and the comment.
