if you can, visit this place during periods of very low attendance and outside school holidays, for example at the end of November, or the beginning of December. You will then have the Mont almost all to yourself, with its deserted streets, magical places where you can also find yourself alone. A great experience. But never visit this place during busy periods, you will trample in the streets in the middle of a compact crowd, and not enjoy the beauty of the place.
La 1a vez que visité el Mont Saint Michel fue en Mayo del año 1957 y quedé prendada de su belleza...no había turistas y un guía nos hizo conocer todos sus rincones, así como su interesante historia...para una niña que entonces tenía 14 años fue algo muy sorprendente y emocionante...he ido en otras ocasiones, pero la sensación ha sido muy distinta 🤷♀️

I visited there in 2018 and it was fabulous, really narrow alleyways between buildings though! We went to the top and there was a defibrillator on the staircase wall, I understand why! There are fantastic views and the old buildings are so interesting.
