I love this video, thank you so much for sharing. I have a question..... would it be possible to add handles on the sides. If so, what part of the steps would I sew them on ? Thank you Kindly Kimberly 😍
You can make your own string and you can even sew them into the bag. I also add a pocket on the inside. I like to use a cheaper, plain fabric for the pocket so you can see it easier. I also have sewn lines on the pocket for pencils and ink pens.

Great tutorial.. and so very easy to follow… clear and concise.. I loved watching it .. and I have been looking for years for this exact design .. so thank you so much for it … I don’t have the yardage for it … but I do have a mountain of left over jelly roll strips and a even more scrap strips .. so tis is a good project for next week … thanks again Lisa ❤️ 🇦🇺
I love your instructions! I have made a few of these aprons from shirts. Your apron is very much like the ones I have made in the past. I did learn a few things from you and will incorporate in my next apron. I wear one whenever cooking. They are great as a part of a fund raiser, especially when the shirts did not cost you anything! I think making the apron from a loved ones shirt is a great gift. It’s like a memory apron vs a memory bear!
