I've only been into Starbucks once. On the occasion I did, it was like they were talking another language. In the end I just said - "Can I just have a normal cup of coffee please?" They looked at me like I was some kind of unworthy alien being. I never went back.
Ref flooding. I once lifted a mini digger into an active and fsat flowing river/canal wiv me crane. They had sandbagged a little area, and then actually pumped the water out. Then we lifted in the digger. If you ever suspected the water becoming too much, could you do something like this? I don't know how it would work. But was astonished to see them do this. The pump they used wasn't even that big.
That Nightingale Hospita was a scam for sure all that cash made to make these pop up hospitals in London and they were never used as that Covid was a minor flu virus , most hopital staff were busy doing Tik Tok dancing lol gave them a 2 year break lol
Ah i used to watch a program called Edge media and they had Richard D Hall on that and also a guy called Jacques Fresco who is sadly now dead but he was in his 90s he came up with the Venus project idea which the WEF has now stolen but instead of a Utopia its a Dystopian idea you will own nothing and be happy and everything will be controlled by AI etc not good.
your bachelor pad looks comfy for the winter with a fire or pechka whatever they call it. But what kind of heathen dosenn't have milk with their coffee? lol
Lovely house! Very interesting to hear how you’ve negotiated access to the garden. I’m guessing you will have also negotiated access to the septic tank? How wonderful to have had access to a spring.
Before you knock down any walls/ part of walls, because you live in a town where there are lots of grade listed buildings, speak/ ask the mayor( or someone from the municipality related to this matter). Just a piece of advice from a Bulgarian.
Hello mate , that don`t look good mate for getting flooded because your like in a valley where your got hills in front of the house & hills at the back of the house so if you get a really lot of rain the water run down both sides of the hills down to your house , ask the neighbours if there`s ever been any floods in the past ok , cheers ...
Immigration as a whole is a net negative, it has been proven now that it isn't a economic benefit, and then there's the loss of culture of the natives, along with a more hostile living environment - take it from a Brummie
I wounder when you will get smokless zones their as many of us now have in UK, big fines for burning wood, apparently we been poluting the planet so we must be fined .
Starbucks machines from the petrol statiins is the best coffee in the UK imo. It's like dark-liquid gold. But v pricey. I opt for Greggs coffee. 2x a day @£1.60-1.80 depending on location. Lol there was free Nescafe Gold Blend and milk on our tunnelling site last week. I stand convicted of the sins of which you preach 😢😢
And for sure they will also have a water fountain so you can make a flask for the whole day in the crane, gold blend is not bad. greggs will be using tap water
Also to i could set up my own coffee stall selling coffee for only £1 a cup and still make £48 a day profit , i would only need like 60 people a day to visit and over a 10 hour working day it is possible if you park the coffee van in a layby on a busy A road etc , My friend she used to have a burger van only charge £3 a burger and they were like big quarter pounders , she made £2 profit on every burger sold and was easily clearing £500 a week , the van was hers so it was all money in the bank , only issues she ever had was the food hygience people who in the UK now are like a Mafia , they punish the little people and only help big business. Hence why my friend is no longer in business too much stress it became.
Biggest rip off Gordon Ramsays restaurant in London , I kid you not £5 for a teabag LMAO but anyway i never buy coffee from Costa or caffe Nero or Starbucks , I can make a Latte just as nice for like 20p a coffee , I think some people just never think about the amount of cash they are wasting , years ago people used to bring a flask to work and have like 3 or 4 cups of tea or coffee from that , my only bad habit is coca cola im addicted to that stuff £2 a bottle it is now so yeah £14 a week i spend on that stuff but it is so good.
@@jimmyjohnny3779 12 spoons of sugar lol hence why i need 10 teeth repairing due to the cavities lol , also the way Starbucks is going they will soon be charging for sugar lol
Very good video. Thank you for doing it. That more than 4k for coffee on the UK is what my friend pays for a 1 bed flat a year where I am. Or an 6 week winter cruise... Less than 5 years of that enough to reroof the whole of my house. Less than 4 weeks coffee enough to buy a merlin pass for a year. Which is what I like to do and take picnics of what I like to eat. I gave up my car and gym me to walk more. And I get shopping home delivered from 1.20 from morrisons and I jump into taxis a lot and it's a lot cheaper by 3k a year. In the past I have done car boot sales saved up to get rid of things I had gone off and was not using and would never use to buy a different cheap car. I did that 3x in 20 years driving. I go visit my friends, have them visit me, and go for picnics with my friends from sping onwards and the conversation can be better than in pubs and cafes.
I am in the UK, I barely ever buy a coffee out and about unless I am on work expenses. I do drink a lot of coffee, I have a little pocket camp stove and a steel flask in my van and rucksack which I use to make up fresh coffee as I go with a drip filter I bought off Ali Express for £2.50.
As for the cost of things, I think in the UK the cost of things people NEED is what's causing most of the problems. We have the third most expensive electric in the WORLD, and rent is now silly money. We have had a few nights out here, and I mean with my kids so not late ones, but there is a Folk Festival weekend so I had a few bevvies that weekend, omg the cost. I nearly fainted the price of a pint in the local pubs.
North Wales they were torching holiday homes! That's a proper Welsh welcome 🤣 You might remember my parents had a caravan overlooking RAF valley. Chips on Angelsey used to have a premium for the English, charge you 50p more than the locals, lol
I am English and wife Romania we are building a house in Transylvania . Once built i am leaving the UK , UK is,a joke . Have my settlement visa and GP services , pay a medical insurance. Paid land taxes, etc . Just want a quite , relaxed life , that isnt in the UK
What a nightmare. When you’ve got to older age and have to live away from lifelong family and friends in those conditions something has gone very wrong.😏
someone has to do it, just ordered some wagyu steaks to be shipped in from Sofia, one major reason I moved was to get away from family, not all families are perfect example the Krays or Fred Wests family
Coffee or tea at Wetherspoons is £1.56 for as many refills as you want. The Costa round the corner is £3 - £4 per cup. Both usually have plenty of customers.
Where I live in the last ten years about 80% of the pubs ,Chip Shops, restaurants, hotels, bnb's, retail big and small garages and small business have gone. Costa drive thru is packed, Ming Mongs everywhere.
You are spot on, coffee is about ten times more than it should be in Englnd. I would have had a game of tennis with you (I was a fair player, but I was school champion at Table Tennis). Now, like you I do walking for exercise, everytime you see variations in nature, get fresh air, and beautiful views.
