I'm really keen on something like this. What exactly is the difference between the Clee and the Crantock? This looks like an SWB to me, can both versions be done to SWB vans?
Hi Martyn, thank for your comment. The Crantock is a package which includes the vehicle and conversion. The Clee is just the conversion on customers vehicles.This conversion will fit both LWB and SWB
Hi I have 2 dogs one small terrier and 1 retriever when the bed is fully out what is the width of the space between the end of the bed to the back of the drivers seat.
Hi Mark, you will need the following items, 100amp lithium battery, 2000w power inverter and then you will need a CTEK battery to battery charger. I would recommend getting an auto electriction to install it for you.
How to to reduce the rattles and squeaks which appear to come from the runners.had my RIB seat from new, 6 yrs on still drives me mad every time I drive the camper 😢
Question please how much will it help to have engine running whilst microwave is running. Will it make much difference? subject to that battery being on the charging circuit. ThanksTony
Hi Tony, it will help but only slightly and its all dependant on the size of your vehicles alternator and condition of you vehicle battery. For this to work properly you will need it to run from a lithium or carbon/lead leisure battery.
Lovely layout. The only thing I would like to change is to replace the gas cooktop to electric induction cooktop. No need to worry about gas (CO) safety.
Hi, the passenger side is 6'3 and can be extended to 6'7. The drivers side is fixed at 6'1. This is based on a SWB if the vehicle was a LWB both beds can be extended to suit.
Hi Aidan, I wouldn’t recommend connecting an inverter to your vehicle battery especially a high powered one as it will drain your van battery very quickly to a point that you won’t be able to start your engine. Alway try and connect to a second battery that can be charged from your vehicle.
A rock n roll bed is something that folds flat in the middle of the frame by hinges and is a cheaper alternative to a RIB or Reimo bed systems available
As a simple rule, to calculate how long a 12v deep-cycle battery will last with an inverter multiply battery amp-hours (Ah) by 12 to find watt-hours, and divide by the load watts to find run time hours. Finally, multiply run time hours by 95% to account for inverter losses
Honda eu22i silent generator 2200w at the pull of a cord ? By the time you carry that big battery around and you buy a quality inverter you can have a honda suitcase generator which you can keep in cupboard in house ?

Can these seats be installed rear facing? I would like a van with a restaurant arrangement seating booth. This would enhance day visits to local parks.
not loving the Green, but otherwise that's pretty smart.... I was only thinking earlier how crazy it would be to fit a pop top to my B8 Passat estate? (not been drinking) I have slept in it a few times while covering Rallycross for my RU-vid channel, not the best night sleep I have ever had!
