(20:35) Also should mention during “Millionaire” he does change the final verse’s words to the first verse of Iggy Pop’s “Dog Food”. In 2010 Mondo Generator recorded a 7inch with a cover of Iggy Pop’s “Dog Food” which was the title of the 7inch and CD as well (the CD had some bonus tracks). But on “Dog Food” (just the ONE track by itself) It had Dave Grohl on drums, Happy-Tom from Turbonegro on bass and Oliveri played guitar and sang. Anyways THAT’S what the reference is for those who ain’t hip…
Great to have this to listen to. I saw them when they supported Sarah Blasko in 2004 or 2005. Went and bought their album the next day. They absolutely rocked at that concert. I remember bumping into Seja a few times in Coorparoo around 2006-07.
Jakkpot were a band from Baltimore, Maryland formed in 1991. (I’m not going to dive into their history, but they have a Facebook and Discogs page- Y’all can take it from there) Jakkpot- Young And Dumb Featuring: “Jakk Ass” Rude A.- Vocals Keith Campbell (Black Market Baby)- Guitar Rob Michael- Bass Paul Kopchinski- Drums Engineered by Drew Mazurek and Produced by Jakkpot (Themselves) “Young And Dumb” is a Rubber City Rebels cover. Jakkpot released this in 1999 as a 7inch single, with “Young and Dumb” on the A-Side. For the B-Side or “AA-Side” the first song is a Jakkpot song called “The End” the second song is “Rockers” which is a UK Subs cover and is spelt as “Rokkers”. “Young And Dumb” also appeared on both Jakkpot CD compilations “Lie! Cheat! 'N Steal!” and “Always Bet On Black”. Which were also released in 1999.
