We are a young (at heart) couple who love to travel. We have raised a family of 4 lovely children and now spend time visiting them as well as other beautiful and delightful destinations, domestic and worldwide. We both still work full-time, so we understand the need to maximize the vacation time we have, as well as the money spent for the travel experiences.
We want to share some of the things that we have learned, experienced, and enjoyed in the past few years as we have traveled to various destinations. We hope that these tips help you, the traveler, to more fully enjoy your adventures.
I'm heading out on a Mexican Rivera cruise in November. I have come to find out (after final payment) that they have closed Churchill's cigar lounge and are converting it to a video arcade. I'm super disappointed since I enjoy my guy time with a nice cigar while cruising. Seems like bait and switch since I have already paid. Thanks Princess 😢
Allison and Gordon and the Let's Go "Family" were the best part of the cruise! I've never met so many kind caring fun people! The ship was wonderful, the ports were great, the staff were awesome, the house band (Pinnacle) was fantastic, and the vow renewal was spectacular, BUT the Let's Go Family Members were the best! ❤❤❤❤❤
"Sir" James here. What an absolutely fantastic cruise we had. It went way too fast! Princess really pulled out all the stops! And as always, you and Gordon were so wonderful! I cant wait for the next 4 group cruises we have booked with you. We counted up today. We have 24 new friends from this one cruise.
We had a great time on this cruise, however there were many who did not know about the vow renewal procedure. I’m usually very attentive to how things are handled…
That’s unfortunate that the vow renewal process wasn’t very clear. I was thinking back to a vow renewal we had a couple of years ago while on Grand Princess to Hawaii. The renewal was on Kauai. The process was clearly explained and the name registration form in the Patter daily. Also, the cruise director and Rowena & Brian (Hawaiian hosts) also talked about the ceremony. It sounds like the communication process has changed.

The Love boat cruise was something special.We especially enjoyed the entertainment, Air Supply is a real surprise,seeing Love Boy crew was special,Rock Opera truly outstanding. A real highlight of the cruise was meeting you and getting to talk about cruising .Hope to see you again on a future cruise
It was an amazing cruise! We loved participating in the vow renewal! But we were bummed that we never were told about having to register. We enjoyed joining in on the periphery.
The transfers from the Princess hotel (New York Mid town Manhattan getting to the cruise ship didn’t leave the hotel until about 11:50. We got to cruise terminal around 12:30 and it took at least 2 hours to get through all the lines. The cruise was wonderful and once we got on it was fantastic. We sure appreciate all did to make our cruise so fun!

Oh my goodness, I’m even more sorry that Monty and I couldn’t make it. Missing Air Supply was a disappointment but now there’s that beautiful vow renewal! I was a bit disappointed in 2022, but this was special.

We went on this cruise last week. Went to Bar Harbor. It was so foggy they didn’t let people off until noon. Massive crowds trying to get back to the ship at 2 until 4. It was actually terrible. Glad you went somewhere else.
Allison, I’ve been seeing you “forever” BUT this clip has put you “on top of my heap”! I m reseeding this one about 9 days after its insertion, but I had seen it back then, and I had been looking for it to re-see it, but couldn’t find it. You see, I’ve been cruising since 1970, and I’m pretty savvy about cruising. Well, things like this have been happening to me lately, so I’m simply doing “to them” things I would have never done before (all legal btw)… THANK you for this one, and I’m now “one of your ever followers”!
We are having a fantastic, fun cruise with Allison and Gordon the wonderful Let's Go Family! The weather has been wonderful and the ports are great! My favorite port has been Eastport! What a charming little town!
Peggy's cove was fantastic when we went last November, but the temp got up to 60 degrees. It was a challenge to get pictures of the lighthouse without people in it.
Every time I go to go on the Princess Web site it is down for technical difficulty. I have more excursions to book, but I want to compare excursions. I am having trouble logging onto the app. Today is 9/5/2024. This has been ongoing since July. Any ideas about how to get the information I need? My cruise is in January 2025. This is my first time traveling with Princess. My cruise is paid for in full. Thanks! 🙂

Thanks for all this good info. Three people in my travel group have reserved a 360 dining experience but we can’t figure out how to assure we will be seated next to each other. Anybody know?
Also in 2022, I visited Halifax on my Pearl Seas’ Pearl Mist from again from Quebec City down the St. Lawrence River, through the Maritimes, to Portland. Wonderful cruise!
I have been to Halifax on multiple occasions. Fortunately we docked near downtown so no tendering necessary. Once I was on the American Cruise Lines’ Constitution on a cruise from Quebec City to Portland.
