Not really...clubs try to use only 15 players in a season annd they are not rotating the players...one player will play 50+ games in a season but another team member will play when there's an injury to the main players... probably 5 or less
@@DeltaFootball true...but why having the others on your team if they're not going to play? ... And when a player is showing signs of injury, then you rest him (man management) so as not to aggravate the injury.
If they can’t play what the Fifa commission is requiring from them then cut their pay. They get paid crazy money they supposed to play more games. For Fans. For business. Works out all the way around.
Its not that theyre refusing to play, its more so that theyre getting injured more frequently which in the end hurts both the players and the teams. Don’t you think?
Dont forget about Jorge Campos, he used to play half as a keeper and the other half as a foward. The lil man was a MENACE. Also who can forget Chilavert, the man not only used to scored Free Kicks and Penalties but also he will create plays and even constantly getting off his goalie just like another foward on the pitch. He was the real deal.
Yeah the Goal keeper addicted to scoring goals was called JOSE LUIS CHILAVERT - has 8 international goals as Goal Keeper. Ceni hasn't scored at that level.
Only because Ceni was Brazilian while Chilavert was from Paraguay. It was simply easier for him to get in the national team. Ceni was, as a the OP pointed out, easily a more prolific goal scorer. Wonder who the real football historian is here...
No disrespect to CR7, but Di Stefano owns UCL , 5 consecutive ucls is not a joke and he was one of the few players to beat pele and Santos during those days
No offence to do Stefano but not only was Real Madrid most powerful in pockets at that time, the competition was not as huge as it is today and therefore not as competitive. There was literally 8 teams or less in the entire European cups competition and it was like having two Ronaldos alongside Puskas and other great players vs the other couple teams in the small tournament lol.
@@RicardoOliveira-ji7yt bro at that time real madrid struggled to even qualify for UCL because only the champions of domestic leagues were allowed to play in UCL, so even if Ronaldo did win 3 back to back UCL he never won 5 consecutive nor did he win more than 2 la ligas , so in that context di Stefano definitely had a harder route but he still carried real madrid to 5 consecutive ucls
