We are a channel dedicated to old iron. I will bring you entertaining (sometimes educational) videos highlighting as much vintage iron as we can. We will post some late model content as long as it applies to shop life.
Guys look. Fuel blowing out the valve cover, out the exhaust, out the thermostat. This probably has a cracked water jacket and rings. It didnt have long anyways.
Used to sit around and drink beer watching an old SBC die sitting WOT. Of coursce they had coolant and oil, how else can you enjoy a 24 pack of beer with your buddies.
I loathe those engines, the sbc to me is a barely adequate, poorly designed, overrated, orange lump of iron... even so, why do this to an engine, even if it was junk the moment the iron was poured in the mold? There has to be a taxi cab or small irrigation pump it could be used in.
