One question…..are the dividers sewn down inside the bottom of the bag, or is open underneath them? I assume open…..? I can’t quite get this straight in my head. I’d like my dividers to be closed at the bottom.
I’m surprised there are no comments yet. I’ve just found this video. I’ve been trying to figure out how to add dividers like this to bags. Thank you for this video!
Actually, I was a bit confused when I got mine. I didn't want to remove the lid and spill the chalk, if that's not what you were supposed to do. I see somebody commented that you might want to take the video down, but I do believe it helped me. I read the comments and now I know wgat to do. If you do decide to take the video down, maybe you can make another just explaining what happened, show how to use it, and then your review. Thanks!
I was disappointed with my chalkwheel from Hobby Lobby at first also. But I pulled out the chalk cartridge and discovered that the chalk cartridge has a cap. REMOVE the cap from the cartridge and re-insert the cartridge. It works VERY WELL !!! The instructions on the back of the package tell you to remove the cap from the refill. It does not mention removing the cap from the initial chalk cartridge! Yes, the instructions need to be better!
The chalk block has to be pulled out and you have to pull the rubber plug off the chalk block, insert it back into the device and chalk will flow onto the wheel and tada you have chalk lines
Just came across this video it is very helpful. I tried to sew this dress one time and got frustrated with the straps and gave up. I am going to pull the pattern out tomorrow and try this method. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for this video!! 🎉😊🎉 I've waited a few days before starting this shirt (version b) because I've been racking my brain about the collar and didn't want to ruin my fabric, which I ordered online. I'm considering adding a short facing to the back, but I might just understitch the collar afterwards to hold it upright.
You need to pull out the little rectangular chalk holding piece and pull the top off it. Next, replace it in the holder. This allows the chalk to flow freely. They need better directions on the packaging. Good luck.
