I visited Haworth, for the first time, last month. I stayed 3 days and as well as 3 visits to the Parsonage, also walked to the Bronte falls and Top Withens. Juliet Barker's biography of the Brontes was my inspiration. This video by Mary, brings my experience right back to me, just the correct blend of information, views and accompanying music. Brilliant, well done Mary. Deserves a much wider viewing.
I walked the WHW last year. My first time in Scotland and my first long distance hike. Such a great experience. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
Just ordered the Naturehike rock 60 which has the same colour pattern and looks identical. £60 vs £265 and the Naturehike actually looks better. Both are roll tops and seem to have identical back system.
You are both very positive people and I really enjoyed your video, I've done the WHW twice but it was always a few mates, next week I'm doing the whw myself for the first time, after watching your video I really can't wait, all the best 🏴👍
Don't worry David I never gave up! Videos are recommencing in August - details are all my community tab! (I’ve been doing my advanced Yoga Teacher Training and just couldn’t do both)
This is a BIIIIIG BIG BIG topic that needs more adressing on this platform and has nothing to do with gender. A Bear will mess you up i dont care how MANLY of a MAN you are for example so the dangers are pretty much the same for a man and a woman. Im 41 yo man i would love to hike but i dont know anyone well enough that is into hiking also i love solitude honestly but yeah im a bit scared of hiking alone so i cant wait to see this video really.
Just did this walk in April - been looking forward to it for about 5 years as I was in the area just before Covid struck. Really enjoyed the walk though it was very windy.
I first became aware of this book after reading the excellent book by Julia Bradbury Walk Yourself Happy, she recommends this book. I’ve yet to read this book In Praise of Walking. I can highly recommend the Julia Bradbury book. I’ve got to be honest I’m generally not a big fan of these tv type celebrities but I find Julia a really sweet very genuine person who has had her own serious health conditions not least her mastectomy following her breast cancer diagnosis. ‘I only have two doctors my left leg and my right leg’. Stunning!😍 I just discovered your videos😃😍🥳 I love your Enthusiastic, Adorable, Excitement on your Journeys 🎉 . Thanks for Sharing Dear🤗 Many Happy, Safe, Travels 😊 Rochelle
For some reason the universe was trying to keep you inside or perhaps trying to show you a different perspective. I can completely relate with the chronic pain. I also get headaches every single day for decades as well as the occasional migraine. It can definitely be hard to take care of yourself in those conditions. I love that you found lifestyle changes that work for you and it's incredible that you're able to get out there backpacking. This is one huge reason why I was coming here to see your pack suggestions because pressure on the shoulders is such a dealbreaker. If you're ever forced inside again a side channel of your diet and lifestyle changes for sufferers of chronic headaches could be extremely enlightening and might get more of us back out into the work with you. I love that your positivity shines through even through the frustration. :)
Hi mary i understand where u coming from this social media has killed way people talk no one talks anymore they only talk though social media sad really n yes outside begin with nature its best feeling its one big adventure you wont get that on a screen love your videos keep up going outside n treckking poles are a great support on the hikes once again thank u for video of good advice god bless u n respect🙏 ❤ 👍
I own this pack for a couple of years now but I don't like it for several reasons. I wished I watched this video and did more research before I got it.
A lovely series of films, really enjoyed watching them. They brought back lots of wonderful memories of my own C2C adventure back in 2021. Thanks to you both for taking us along with you.
Maybe I'm behind the times or whatever does anybody know what is going on with Mary I haven't had a RU-vid video from her for quite some time now and I hope she's okay I know she struggles with my health problems and then on top of that she's trying to do this yoga thing and get it kicked off so she never said anything about just dropping her RU-vid channel ?????
Hi Trakyboy - did you not read my reply to you 2-3 weeks ago? Here is is..."I will be back - just need another few months! Thanks so much for checking in, I might do an update soon either by a short or a post to explain why I have been gone longer than planned. Hope you are keeping well too ☺️"
Thank you for sharing, the scenery is breathtakingly stunning. Props to commentary and videographer. I visited Loch Lomond in Dec 2022, shall return in Sept 2024, will include Loch Ard on the road trip. 😊❤
One question. How did your gear stay so clean? I have the same backpack and it's filthy from my last hike, same with my tent. 200 nights and everything is super clean.
Oh my, this was the best video I came across, and I have been searching for one on a yoga teacher training for a while now. Thank you so much for all the information and experience you've shared. I hope to attend the YTT at The House of OM this September 😄
Repeat Please: Sabiá Laranjeira 🐦⬛🍊 I found Mary on a farm in the interior of São Paulo, the Major Prado family, with a telephone from approximately 1832. 📞 Hello England? Right Ah! O telefone funcionou 😃 uauauaua. Mary and your Turma, I also saw a super old wooden compass. Technology started to help humans. Look what a coincidence that Major Prado's heirs live on the farm.
