I’m here because like everyone eventually some functions in the door stopped working, in my case the power door lock actuator. This video has the details you need to fix.
I wish I had seen your video first,! I struggle tremendously with this. I watched multiple video's on this NONE of them remotely descriptive as yours, I could tell right away you actually knew what you doing,
Dude I can’t even get passed 30 seconds of you chewing do you even have cheeks? Are you trying or just talking breathing and chewing all at once overwhelming yourself
YO what is up with your Pea level?!.. How can you get any accurate reading with the bubble outside both the lines?! That bubble should be the size of 1/2 a pencil eraser and fit In Between the lines with a 1/16 gap both sides of bubble off the black line.. Id throw that thing in the trash get a new one from Lowe's or depot.. Can't be buying tools that require precision from H.F,
Thank you for the information about the duplicate wires. Both my grounds broke off so I had no idea where the heavier gauge was supposed to go since it doesn't mention gauge at all in the service repair manual. I figured the white tab lock but I didn't know I had to lift up to release the pins. I did it by just forcing them out with one of the tools from my terminal pin remover kit. I'm in the middle of the job now.
I have this lift, they are all made in China, the Harbour Freight lift is not a bad lift. I have had my Silverado 1500 on it with no problems, but like any other lifting device, don't overload it and don't be stupid !!!
Wish I would've got those extensions years ago. Right now it cost $195 each set. The shipping cost for 2 sets is insane ($211.84). I paid less to have that heavy ass lift shipped to my house in a wooden crate with liftgate service.
thanks for the video it clears up so many things, unfortunately I used every possible thing as a depinning tool but I can't lift the primary lock up, it will bend the tool no matter what (used thin screwdriver, some depinning tool (not oem), safety pin, paper clip, etc), some of them I got out but not easy to do :(
Really great video! I can't believe these terminals need to be lifted up like that to remove. It's difficult! Thank you for the much needed explaination!
Why even get a price for a heat gun at honda dealer? I didnt even know honda sells heat guns. I just cant see myself going to a honda car dealership, walking in and saying, hi do u guys have a heat gun in stock. I would think they would be like, um we sell cars, and car parts.
Thanks for the info on the longer arms but even with the patience of a cat watching it's prey I couldn't make it to the end. Hello! If safety is your concern then drill a hole through the side of the safety bar and some spaced holes through the inside bar and put a hitch pin through it. That way you won't have to rely on the cheesy latch or the hydraulics to hold it up.
