I use one tomato in every curry , is small amount citrus with other ingredients is ok to cook in bronze utensil, still not safer. Please answer this question.
That's an interesting question. In most cases, they appear similar in colour. However, the Brass would be much more similar to the yellow Gold and Bronze would be more similar to rose gold. This is not the ideal method to differentiate between them. The Bronze cookware will be heavier than Brass mostly. Thank you Team Zishta
Greetings from Zishta, That's a good question! The Tin-coating is acting as a barrier to limit the leaching of Copper into the food being cooked. It will not completely block the leaching as it is only a thin layer. Hi mam good information thank you. My question is aluminium vesel is not good for long term but my in law are using all alluminium vessels of thin quality yet they r good in health now they are in 90's with no ailments like Diabetes blood pressure no heart problem no digestive system issues so does using particular vessel make any difference in health or depend on person to person
Greetings from Zishta, Thank you for your kind words! Your question is indeed very interesting and one that sparks a lot of debate. When we prepare food in any vessel, there is a sort of leaching that occurs into the food depending on the material used. Some materials are neutral and do not affect the food cooked inside. In traditional vessels, leaching is present, but the elements are generally beneficial. It's important to note that health is influenced by a variety of factors including lifestyle, genetics, the overall diet, and even how the vessels are maintained. Your in-laws' excellent health could be attributed to a combination of these factors. While certain materials may have potential health impacts, the overall picture of health and wellbeing is complex and influenced by many variables. Thank you Team Zishta

Greetings from Zishta, Thank you for your question. The change in color of the rice can be influenced by the water or the rice itself. To better understand the cause, I recommend transferring the rice to another vessel immediately after it's cooked. This way, you can check if the rice still changes color. Please let us know if you need any further assistance! Regards, Team Zishta

We understand your concern. However, we use pure tin lining inside our vessels because it is a traditional and safe material. While it may wear off with usage, it ensures the best cooking results and maintains the authenticity of the cookware. Regards, Team Zishta
That's right! It is always recommended to keep 2 separate tawas, one for dosas and one for other purposes. The reason is that after making rotis, the next dosa may get stuck. Thank you Team Zishta
Brass plates can be used for eating if they are tin coated. Do not use brass thali plates without tin coating. Kansa (Bronze) is more aesthetic and is beneficial for daily usage.
Wow!! They are deleting comments!!! Well I will keep posting as I am one cheated customer. I paid 1799 for the iron tawa and there was no information on the black coating whether it is edible or harmful and how to remove it. I bought it more than 1 yr back and I am still not able to use it because of the black coating which is next to impossible to remove. Everytime I wipe my hand on tawa the black residue appears on my hand. And it is 1799 rs!!!! I am more shocked that instead of informing how to remove it they simply deleted my comment. This shows their authenticity and professionalism.
Dear Asha.. There is no black coating, it is the seasoning done on iron. Iron base colour is greyish in colour. The same is heated in charcoal furnace and then we apply sesame oil with iron powder mix on the surface to season the tawa. Upon its cooling, the tawa gets darker. Do not remove the seasoning by scrubbing it. The dosa will start sticking to the tawa if you try scrubbing and removing it. The more you use it , the tawa will get darker with usage. Please note your comment is not deleted. We just took sometime to answer the same here. Any iron tawa if you keep rubbing it, will result in the seasoning coming off in your hand. Do reach out to us on Whatsapp at +919008220185 if you have any further queries and our team will patiently explain everything to you.
@@Zishta thank you for the explanation.. but each time I swipe my hand on tawa the black powder comes off. Thats why I was concerned and I could not see earlier comment so thought it must be deleted. I only wanted to know what is it and if its edible. Thank you!
How did you remove the black coating from tawa. I bought this tawa and I am struggling to remove the black coating.. its so time consuming and impossible
Hey Asha- we have not deleted your comment. Its right here. ! I have answered your query in the next comment of yours. Sorry we took sometime to answer the question.
