Ok have to disagree about Allirez. It's very clear his progression has stalled or regressed a bit. When you see guys like Jessie Mendez making huge leaps forward in comparison. Allirez messed up not going to some better coaching.
You guys have no clue by your picks Mr jack Gabe Arnold really over carter 4 x natty winner won by beating 2 natty winners with a torn up knee good gracious stop picking with your hearts pick with reality let's let Arnold wrestle a full season then we will see
I went to the wrestling facility dedication. The wrestling room is underground. It doesn’t have natural light. It has a very tall ceiling. Three walls are unpainted concrete. The fourth side is where the locker rooms and weights are located.
@@StudioStunna28I wouldn’t say it’s hate to say it’s surprised AJ isn’t asked to leave gyms for his attire. It’s a huge issue in gyms to create an environment that is clean and AJ is not helping that by consistently being practically nude
Ben is a LINEBACKER lol. He played some tight end in high school but was the 11th ranked linebacker in his class he was recruited to play defense not offense
@@Vincentovich89 he’s only 6-3 230 lbs if anything it’s a little bit on the small and short side for off ball and tiny for on ball. He is replacing jack campbell who the lions drafted and jack is 6-5 or 6-6 and 260
@@michaellong2595 I was just busting your balls lol. Hopefully he chooses to wrestle rather than play football as I don’t think his ceiling is so high in football. Wrestling he could be the best in the world football he’d have to scratch and claw to make an nfl team and he is a bit undersized
@@Vincentovich89AJ was very close to an undefeated freshman season, but he did have one loss that year. He was 10-0 before his car racing accident. Although he did loss during his match last year to Glazier
@@Vincentovich89 I mean, a loss is a loss, but I hear ya. He lost to Noah Adams of West Virginia at the Cowboy Challenge Tournament. Noah was ranked 4th at the time and would end up going 1-2 at NCAAs as the 9 seed
The 1969 team had 5 golds, 2 silver, 2 bronze. The 2017 team had 3 goods, 3 silver and 1 bronze. If this team can reach or exceed 5 golds, we can talk best all time U20 team. It wouldn't shock me if they did.
I'm from Wyoming! I grew up wrestling with Bruce Meredith. Actually, senior year Bryce got Wyoming light weight wrestler of the year and I got Wyoming Upper weight wrestler of the year. I wrestled 182lbs. Also, don't sleep on WY! Bryce, Bo Nickal, David Taylor, and Rulon Gardner all from WY!
Wyoming has some studs for sure and that’s awesome about you and Bryce. One of my high schoolers watched our video ranking the wrestling states based on national results in high school and began to comment Wyoming related things on every video.
@@Vincentovich89Bo was born in Colorado but moved to Wyoming when he was young. He then moved to New Mexico and didn’t move to Texas until he was a freshman on high school.
@@michaellong2595 haha thanks bro. I thirdly understand your wrestler. I love coach branch is awesome but it’s hard to recruit people to the university of Wyoming. Even I didn’t want to stay in WY. I think that WY your wrestling is slept on but then the best wrestlers move away in high school.
@@Vincentovich89 exactly like Michael said he grew up doing USA wrestling and then moved to New Mexico. My cousin is his age, they wrestled and Bo wrecked him 😂. Multiple 5 point throws haha and a concussion lol
I gotta give the edge to our U20 group. I feel like U23s doesn’t always get the same amount of love as U20s as most U23 wrestlers are attempting to make the senior level team and those that don’t usually circle back to U23
Yes he is, we filmed a video about it and should be releasing it soon. Ben went to college as a tight end/linebacker and is currently listed as a linebacker
So pumped about him. Davison high is an hour from me grew up wrestling against them when Brent metcalf went there. I was a bit down on him when Ryder looked so good and Barr got tech fall
Be on the lookout for our future videos coving recruiting classes. Blaze is the only top recruit from the class of 2025 not committed and it’s only a few weeks until the class of 2026, that features Bo Bassett and Jax Forrest, can be contacted by college coaches.
@Tesparza0218 Purdue doesn't have a chance. Joey isn't on the level Bo is. Bo wint limit himself to go where his brother was limited to. Ohio State has a real shot due to location but he's getting tight with those PSU hammers. He'll want to be a part if that
@@michaellong2595 if I'm Sealey, I'm already looking at the portal. What does it prosper to be in the best room, but not in any lineup? Sealey could start almost anywhere else.
KD is doing big things. He was a big part of Iowa Style, now Empire Wrestling Academy’s, success. Similar to David Taylor at Penn State, it was only a matter of time until KD separated from Coach Degl and blazed his own trail.
Had the privilege of practicing with Mike at the UConn Wrestling Club several years ago. Great guy all around. Glad to see you still involved with the wrestling community!
Thanks guys for talking about CLAW! You did a great job--we liked your phrase "All Gas!" We're happy to address some of the questions or concerns if you're interested (e.g., why 4 rounds, why you must win most rounds). The Cactus guy looks cool----could be a future team! Best wishes to you---love the site!
First, we had Real Pro Wrestling in the early 2000s , and you can still find some of those matches on youtube. The 2nd attempt was the one with teams, and it was getting talked up big and how they were going to get paid decent money. In no time, one of the women wrestlers pitched a fit on Twitter about the girls not getting invited or paid. There was one dual meet, and then it ended which seemed to come from all the drama involved.
The three point takedown is fine. Keeping the reversal at two points, however, is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of. Zero incentive for attempting a reversal.
I think the idea is to work for the escape and then wrestle from your feet. I feel like even in college we are seeing reversals less and less, even before the three point takedown was introduced
Great episode. I would say a lot of our recent successful high school wrestlers have desired to be great internationally first / more than college wrestlers. Happy for these changes.
You guys should interview the founder of the new CLAW professional wrestling league. Takes the best of Folkstyle & freestyle and combines them. I got 2 matside tickets to the Ashburn VA show June 23rd. They need the support of the wrestling community
