I put a set on five months ago and they are still good. Done multiple shows. They are still glowing and quite good sounding. The sound has dulled a little but they are five months old now

Ive only had one set of these strings and they exceeded my expectations. There nust be so many tone dead musos out there, because i read comments syaing they “lacked brightness” infact, it was the opposite. Only reason i changed back to ernie ball is because i am recording at the moment and snapped a stribg so wanted it to sound uniforn. Immediately , i noticed how dull the guitar sounded after changing back. It takes a week and a half to order these strings in too as im in australia. As for the coating on electroc guitar , the 3 low strings remained in tact and i palm mute at 190-210 bpm. The higher 3 started flaking from the start but badly about 3 weeks in . I am glad the thicker gauge low end lasted as its noticeable, so naturally i would expect bass to have an even more solid bond. In saying that , when you “slappa da bass” i am guessing the vibrations are far more thab an electric string. Just a guess? Also it could have been a bad batch I took my light medium gauge strings off 5 times while performing some mods (not ideal but they arrived seperately and i am impatient). The point being that ive never been able to take the strings off more than twice without snapping a g or high e. Absolutely rate these and worth the extra $$

Cannonball's band, and Shelly Mann's group at San Diego State Peterson Gym a year or 2 after this. We were so lucky back then.

Great demo, I currently own a Cort Curbow 5, fretted, but am thinking of turning it into a fretless, I'm unsure if the sound is going to be as good as a factory made fretless, but maybe I'll give a try, I like the Bartolini pickup very much

The name of the 1st tune: Blues In The Bassett (Ray Brown). I was a 15 year kid that found my way into the Mann Hole for years. Especially when Ray Brown was performing. 😂

"A Euro Film Production" - a damn shame it took a more appreciative European concern to get it together to film this, right in our own backyard (if I can refer to L.A. as a "backyard"), and keep it preserved for the ages. Thankfully someone did! Just think: they could've had a camera rolling (or at least a tape machine) 6 nights a week for 13 years. Oh, what we missed! (Except for the albums recorded there.)

I wasn’t all that familiar with Bob Cooper, but I’m impressed. It’s too bad they didn’t have a better piano for Hawes. It’s more or less in tune, but it sounds rinky dink.

PARAMOUNT gate cop in "Sunset Blvd" was named Donte, as G.Swanson / N.Desmond calls him from her limo when entering the studio compound ...after all thOse yrs. . . OTIS RUSH rushes the "Motoring Along" as the closing shuffle on his excellent COLD DAY IN HELL lp on Delmark (1975). Anyways, this raw, yet tender footage has that certain doft a bygone era, captured unawares, where all true art stems from - entertained by abrupt suddennes, intertwined with temporality, enmeshed with chance - and buried by civility !
