If you are 6'5 any flight is gonna be tight for you. I'd recommend selecting a seat in the exit row or upgrading to economy plus if you want extra comfort. But, for a 6 hour flight, you'll survive.
Basic economy is not a class of service but a restrictive ticket. No wonder people are confused. You don't have to announce you are basic economy, it just means you don't get to preselect a seat(you got lucky, they typically try to switch someone who isn't on basic for that seat, I know it happened to me), you cannot check a bag, no carry on, no changes or cancelations.
Thanks for a great video! Icelandair really is a budget airline! I was amazed to see they actually removed a galley and had a couple of middle rows in between the lavatories 😫 Not a fun way to fly 😅

Having to ask for hand sanitizing wipes is a little inconvenient, but it saves on needless landfill waste as many don't get used. Same goes for other items that are not always used. But for items that are always used or almost always used, I think you have a point.
Great video!! It’s a decent Little airport but I’m guessing it may be getting a bit too small what with the increase in tourist arrivals and connecting passengers on both Icelandair and Play
I highly recommend investing in a pair of Bose noise cancelling headphones or earbuds. I had a crying baby on my last flight and could barely hear it. Also, the noise cancelling really helps drown out all the loud engine noise.

Love this airport. Very easy to get in and out of. I like the amenities in Terminal 2 better. I usually fly out of Terminal 1 which is pretty crammed if I am honest and doesn't have as many good options. They even used to have a small duty free stand after security in Terminal 1 but I guess they dropped it?

JetBlue only flies to Boston in this place which is pathetic It’s the same nonsense in Dallas, Philly, Pittsburgh and other certain airports They seriously need to bring back Pittsburgh, Dallas and Charlotte to the JetBlue JFK destinations list
Thanks for a great review! In Air France’s defence most economy basic/ light fares on US and European airlines do not included check-in luggage unfortunately.
On the Delta flight, I saw on the screen that you were on ship no. 3761. I was on that exact same plane on my last flight! Unique Skyteam livery on that one, but unfortunately the paint’s kinda looking tired these days. Hope that one gets a repaint, and possibly new seats. The Delta IFE is the best even with the older less responsive systems on some of the 737-800s, and it’s even better when you get one with the newer seats! I do appreciate the large space under Delta’s seats, especially to fit a full backpack under there. I agree, Alaska has the best leg room, and that’s due to their deal with seating manufacturer Recaro which produce lighter, slimmer seats that don’t compromise on comfort. American’s IFE had by far the best selection of movies, even though they operate on a bring your own device system, but their leg room looked miserable! United was just completely garbage in this comparison.

Oh what a change in National Airport from 1967 til now. I remember having lunch in the Washingtonian restaurant, which was in the original main building (on the outside was written "Washington National Airport". I remember flying in and out of National on Eastern Airlines, Northwest Orient Airlines and United Airlines.
What a horrific experience! I hope you managed to get a flight home without too much delay the following day 😊 I have had a few missed connections due to weather but have almost always been given a hotel and a rebooking. Thanks for a great and informative video 😊
Great video! I love the A321NEO and Delta in general. Good plane to replace the aging 757-200,300 as well as the 767-300,400 on domestic routes. Keep up the great work!
Thank you. I actually felt the a320neo felt kind of small and congested, but it's fuel efficient so that's good for costs and the environment! I expect it to become even more popular with airlines.
