im telling you Brooks has bad luck.... his true talent was never really unleashed... his cars allways break, more broke cars than finished rallys...Brooks in an S1 Quatro or Lancia would have been amazing..lol

The winning Car was a Opel Ascona 400..not a Manta as is on the introduction summary.

Billy Coleman used all his experience to win that one he only had 7 fastest times out of 55 and incredibly he won by 20minutes. ..he was the most intelligent irish driver of that era and indeed judged the pace better that Jimmy & Toivonen that weekend 👑👏. ..Brilliant video thanks for upload...BBC did tremendous TV work in the 1980s.

Henri Toivonen was always pushing it to the limits. It’s terribly sad that his life ended tragically in Corsica just over 2 years later.
