When I bought this on vinyl back in 96' I think, I only had my 1200's about a month, Couldn't stop mixing stis album. Got lost in it. What music should do. Ÿeèeee haaaaaa😅
Never forget the time when i brought this album but before playing it one evening decided to watch the blair witch project for the first time back then it was a first of its kind movie played this after being freaked out by what i just watched, This album always takes me back to that time.
My favourite mix this - I was lucky enough to find it on vinyl in a Virgin record store when visiting San Fran in the 90's. Saw him headline a show in Toronto the same year. I've never stopped listening to DnB... it always sounds like the future.
It's because of this I hold bukem in such high esteem as a dnb pioneer DJ and producer .... It is a nigh on perfect drum and bass album.....and it's a genre I've listened to since it's inception....I'm now fifty one and STILL listening to dnb/jungle! ..... But this album is more than that.....look into it's production and history.....it was ready for release way way before it actually was.....a truly timeless ground breaking piece VERY far ahead of it's time and should be treated as such.
Yes mate, 48 and been listening to this music as it was created. Bukem was WAY ahead of the game, still is 😎 this is the definition of a seminal album. Respect to you 👊
@@bluejackmedia i am 44 and still mixing this with old and new vinyls. Not in the qualitiy like ltj do, but with a lot of fun ;) And yeah, Bukem is a real genius. One of the only Dj`s, where i dont need to skip while listening to 3, 4 or more mixes
I walked into a store when there was no internet and I only just discovered Drum 'n Bass. Because there was no internet I didn't have the chance to get to know other music genres then them radio, but the girl at the bus stop that I met every morning shared her headphones with me and I knew instantly that I found my music. It was a record store where I walked in and asked, do you have the genre Drum 'n Bass? Still a bit unsure if it would even exist in the records shop. The person guided me to the small section of records and showed what they had. Then he noted to me, I have a very special good record/CD and it just got into the sale here under the counter. He gave me the record, I listened, I merged with it and this record has been my favorite ever since. Thank you girl at the bus stop for changing my life and helping me to get to this record.
Sublime. LTJ changed the game. He played at my first rave in 93. 30 years (and 2 kids) later I saw him 6 times last year. No boy test 😎 RIP Conrad. No one will ever do it like you. Ever ❤
I’m 65 and have recently discovered LTJ. Going to see him at festie in September- cant wait and can’t stop listening to the Master. Luv and blessings to the man and his fine tunes.
@@omarks I assume because electronic music tends to attract younger audiences. My mom is in her 60's and would never listen to Ltj lol but in reality most of us who were young when this album came out are already in our 40's and 50's.
