This is a secondary channel where I will upload additional aviation enthusiast videos as to avoid cluttering up my other channel. All of my flight reviews with descriptions and music...etc will remain uploaded on my other channel (titled Paul Stewart) although all of the raw aviation footage (ie. takeoff footage, in flight videos) without talking will be uploaded here.
Make sure you check out my other channel here: ru-vid.com/show-UChEU4Y6IZ-xcuCQ8l0XDH4A
@@paulstewart2ndchannel Yr either not a Kiwi or yr a business owner connected to tourism, because it's either that or yr an idiot .. Tourism isn't New Zealand's main economic driver and we would be just fine with limited tourist numbers, in fact better off now as were reopening our oil, mineral and gas industries back up ... BTW it's Tax Payer Funded Health care NOT free Health Care ! --- We never needed that God Awful Airport and we still dont, if they want to come here they should pay to drive, bus or fly small aircraft into an airfield well out of Queenstown !
Thanks for posting Paul. I recently flew into NZQN and filmed the approach on my IPhone 15 which worked well, but is hard work holding it steady for a prolonged time. I'm intereseted to know what mount you used for your GoPro in the plane - eg suction cup or other and if you needed permission from the cabin crew to do so?
Hi mate, no I just hold the camera with my hands but I stabilise it by leaning on the window/frame. I just ensure that I have my hand/finger between the wall and the camera so my flesh can absorb some of the micro-vibrations. I've tried suction caps in the past but I can never get the angle right as it's too far forward instead of angling back towards the engine (so I can see the fan blades :) )
PW1100G is so efficient that the blades don't need to spin as fast as the older engines to create the take off power. So the buzz noise on them are quite rare. That's why they are so scary quiet. Even when they do have the buzz, it's still such a small buzz. Beautiful departures. Fantastic views.
Paul obviously doesn't watch his own 2nd channel any more. When you ask a question and get a reply usually it is polite to say "thank you" or something.
i could listen to this sound all day! i just wish i could afford to have a business class seat so i can get this view and sound! what equipment did you use to film?
