Yes its a shame the radio dosent play any of these tunes anymore i was born in 60s went through the 70s listening to this tune i love showwaddy waddy great memories
Fantastic entertainers these guys. I was 10 when this record first came out in 1973. It still sounds great today. I think a lot of the depressing bands and artists (glum rockers!) around today should study this performance very carefully.
1973.. buddy was my crush….still got all the vinyl albums ..saw them in Oxford several times. So sad that Buddy died early, not sure what Dukey is up to these days ( probably sunning himself in Spain).. and dear old Geoff ( Al):tragically died after a fall. Makes me feel so old but I’m glad i remember them as they were, fresh faced lads off from New Faces… and thank goodness for RU-vid where you can re live their performances. 👍😁
'70s, when there were no limits... Man on the Moon (allegedly ;op) and Raleigh Bomber bikes... No Limits! Classic song with a football terraces chant running through it... I hated school shit and how ironic I now work in a school and have done for 13 years! No woke in "Lookin' back on the things we tried, and we lost and we cry-cry-cried... Lookin' back when my Daddy said "No!" (often!) Oh-yeah?! Johnny ('Brando') Go-Go-Go!!!" Great song and great music.
Vital part of SWW all played a part in the group such a shame people fall out and split up loves going to see them back in the day enjoyed every minute RIP Buddy
