Hello from Ipswich, in Queensland, Australia. Welcome to my channel where I will be sharing a range of crafting goodness.
I've been a crafter all my life and have dabbled in a range of creative endevours. My current addiction is Junk Journalling. I love the look (and smell) of vintage books and ephemera, and I enjoy giving my precious finds new life in my creations. I have soooo many vintage books and ephemera that I also create and sell packages for other crafters to use in their JJs. Keep an eye out for my items on Facebook Marketplace. I will also share videos showing my finds from op shops, markets and garage sales. Feel free to send me a message by a leaving comment. Happy Crafting :}
Hello from Texas. I'm just seeing this video for the first time in May 2024. I love this book! Thanks for sharing. So many new ideas for altered books.
I love your altered books! What do you use them for once you’ve completed? I’ve never done one because I wasn’t sure how I’d use, but seeing this, a book/reading journal pops to mind! Thanks for sparking my creativity that has been “dormant” for quite some time now!❤️
Hi. I'm glad I inspired you to work on your one book. I must say I enjoy the process and I don't really "do" anything with them but admire them. You could use it as a journal to write in by including lots of blank journalling tags in the pockets 😀
I love the concept of the altered books. As you don’t have to sew the pages back in. So, I’m Just starting a couple here. And looking for some inspiration. Daddy cool, now that’s cool 😂😂 cheers from Newcastle 🇦🇺 and TFS.
I just discovered your channel and has subscribed. I love your style. This book is just amazing. I like that you don't use digitales. I am getting away from doing that I never did use very many. I like them more organic journals like joie de fi . Hugs and blessings from New Mexico
Hi. Thanks for your comment. I also don't use digi's very often. I much prefer using original vintage pages and ephemera- hence my channel name :😀. I hope to create more videos shortly.
@@gracekeogh I will be looking forward to it. I'm always scouting out for people who don't use digitales. I've also found a way to make lovely background scrapbook paper
Hi, Thanks for your comment. I totally agree. I'm afraid I created this altered book very early in my RU-vid days and honestly didn't think anyone was actually watching me. Do you happen to remember who the artist was? I'll gladly update my description. Update... found it., I've edited the description. Thanks again for your comment.
So interesting and packed with detail! Love that it didn't come from a kit. Lots of original work here, I'm definitely bookmarking this for inspiration! Thank you.
This is so wonderful! I’m a new subscriber and I’ve loved every one of your videos. You have exceptional ideas that I haven’t seen before. I’m about to start my first altered book, and I’m definitely going to use your ideas! Thank you so much!
Hi Grace I loved your altered book ideas and I subscribed to your channel. Do you have any ephemera packs for sale atm? I struggle to find vintage goodies here in Bundaberg
Hi. Thanks for your kind comments. Yes I have vintage page packs and ephemera packs for sale. Contact me via Facebook or email me at gracekeogh1964@outlook.com :) 😀
I am new to your channel and I am very impressed by how you fold your pages 💖 create pockets and tucks ! I absolutely love your idea 💗Tfs blessings from Florida 🙌🌴🌴
I'm really loving this! From what I understand, you're using the books actual pages? no attached signatures? I might give this a try... would love to see more tutorials on this 🙂❤
Lovely video ❤️ Thank you for sharing, I am learning a lot from you and gaining confidence to create. I found a small book and have started my junk journal creating. Which I found inspiration from your altered book video. So you are very much appreciated. 😌
