Hiya, I’m a mummy of 5.(ignore my RU-vid name- it’s under my partners) You’ve done really well packing but I’d say Rumer I’d take more clothes, just more pjs and nighties, blood gets everywhere and leaks fast, you could just put on a fresh outfit and be changing it minutes later. Also I’d say nighties too with an open bottom because unless you want to be sat for sometimes hours with you thingie out (which is fine) sometimes is nicer and more comfortable for you to be able to get up and walk about to move things on and it’s nice to have a nighty covering it up for things like that. Also I’m not sure how thick those maternity pads are, whether they are more like post hospital when it’s settled a bit, I would take more and really thick ones xxx
Hi there I just saw your video. My other half had an elective c section at 37 weeks due to preclampsia but she had no illness. A few years later with my first I went on to 42 weeks and was induced. In our opinion hers was a much better experience, yes you have the 'longer recovery' but i had a terrible time and 48 hours later still ended on operating table at stepping hill hospital. Years later still having to have lower bowel surgery due to all trauma and infections. Natural birth fine but don't recomend getting induced. However saying that things may have changed over last ten years. Also take glucose tablets to eat as you will need the energy and probably won't feel like eating. Maybe a fan also. And my top tip is to put some savoy cabbage leaves in the freezer for when you get home, i didn't breast feed but they were a great comfort to sore breasts after birth. Good luck ladies and sorry if my birth story terrified you. After all it was only one tale out of millions. I am a farmer also and am usually pretty rock hard but that experience had me on every possible drug they would offer me😅. If you have any questions you would like to ask message me. 😊❤
My last apartment was smaller than that! It looks fantastic (apart from the Liverpool jersey😅) Good luck to all 3 of you. I wonder how long it will stay that tidy?!
"Being with Roo I've never been more comfortable in my own skin" is a beautiful line. Congratulations to you both, and may you have a long and happy life together.
