Let's see PA beat this on the Philadelphia collapse. At least Atlanta had an advantage by using the company that built the original overpass, and they probably still had the plans.
I was in high school during this time so I never really took 85s to go Atlanta. Probably went 3 times a year since I live north of Atlanta. Now as an adult I try to fly through this leaving work. And especially at 2AM in the morning after leaving my gfs place I fly through this bridge since there’s no traffic 😂😂
@@californiamade5608 agreed, leftist always looking for something to lash out at and be "Outraged/Triggered." The majority of the time its something that literally has nothing to do with their life and absolutely no impact on it.
Why are questions like this always under demolition videos? The normal way to get rid of a building is NOT to blow it up, unless it‘s a chimney or a tall tower with enough space around it. Although an explosion destroys a building, it still leaves loads of big pieces of concrete, that still need to be crushed. So using a longfront (like in this video) is cheaper and more effective. They should have used a concrete crusher instead of using a simple bucket in this video.
Bet folks round there glad that bridge was built the ferry was old an always broke an u would have to drive all the way dam near to B R then come thru new roads
@@jacksondryer9221 Yea but what was it that was the reason for the fire? A a truck with gas that crashed or a broken gas line or what? Because concrete doesn't really self ignite.

That's actually the "old" I85, which today is the Buford Connector. It parallels I85 from the Peachtree bridge over the interstate north to Lindbergh area, acting as a collector/feeder access road.
