You are such an amazing player - I always enjoy everything you play because you play it so well! I recall you playing a piece at a sax conference years ago (I won't mention the composer), a piece I had heard others play, and I really disliked it. But you made marvelous music out of it, and I was entranced and loved the piece. The power of your stellar performance. Bravo!
Wow I am in aw. I am a junior in high school and this is my first time listening to a professional saxophonist and this is insane and has inspired me so to practice more even though my sax isn’t so great I’ll do my best
This, for me, was the highlight of the evening. You really hit it out of the park -- the clarity of every note, and that *sound* , riding over the ensemble... luminous, focused, and always singing. (I actually think the recording gives your tone a bit more edge than I heard in the hall.) So glad I got to hear it live.
