I’m so old school that shift-right click is how I access my OSnap choices and then F3 to turn on/off. Since I’m drawing survey maps, I use the node choice a lot because I’ve got the surveyor’s field points in my drawing. Thanks Brandon for the video!

Thank you Brandon, always the best at this. Just learnt about the shortcut for stretch, add vertex and convert to line/curve. The other osnap shortcut menu I normally use is (whenever in a command, I press down the shift or ctr button and right click my mouse button to choose an osnap I need at that particular moment
please can you tell me the reason why it just getting copied the title block empty no drawing inside when I try to copy layout from another drawing using Autocad Design Centre , is there any reason behind that ?
all my layers are faded dark grey and those are set to print icon , should be g2g but those xref layers aretn showing up in print preview. Why? how to print the damn xref layers?
when i detach and unload it still sits in the xref manager window thing. with red arrows on the both sides. why is it still there and not disappeared? how to make it gone?
Slightly wrong there in that grip trick. The 4th press of enter or the space bar is mirror. If you hold ctrl in this mode you create a mirrored copy. The Ctrl key in Move does a copy. Rotate the same.
As always a great tutorial. Am I wrong Brandon is saying that before setting up your dimension style the plot scale should be determined? Also you didn't mention drawing everything in model space at a 1:1 scale. As I understood your previous tutorials and others online, the model space is where all your line work gets created. When things like text, dimensions, dynamic blocks with text are to be added the plot scale needs to be figured out. Am I wrong? Please keep making these videos as they help the rest of us advance our skills in drafting.
Great. I would like that at the start of an Autocad drawing through a template, this automatically asked me the title block data. This would be possible?
Hi. I know how to make new linetype with shapa and it works ok. On my computer. When i send my drawing or only .lin file to someone, its not working. Is it because od shape or what i have to do that linetype will work on everyone computer? Thank you.
I have question, I have this drawing I’m working on in which my superior gave me. How do I select only one polyline or point when the polyline or point has been plotted repeatedly over five times?
Deleting a block shouldn't be too hard right? AutoCAD How To Delete a Block from a Drawing - Quick Clean Method! | 2 Minute Tuesday *Watches 5 minute 20 second video* Enough said...
This video is super helpful...thanks so much for all of your content. I am hoping you might afford me a little direction as I'm getting into the whole dynamic block world. I'm wondering how one goes about adding hatches to the equation. I feel that I must be missing something very simple, as I'm making a base-level block, with a single stretch attribute, and my hatches within the block doesn't want to stretch along with the linework.
